beesweet
Can someone suggest the next size wick to try from a cd22 in alternate brands of wicks, maybe HTP or other? I'm testing spicy scents with ezsoy in a large jar and the cd22 is getting a full meltpool but takes several hours and the meltpool is very shallow. Thanks in advance! Gdawg
I am not familair with the ezsoy but with the soy I use, for the larger jars I use an LX28, the LX's curl though so now I am testing the RRD50 they seem to be doing good.
topofmurrayhill
Realistically, you're probably at the point where you should be double wicking. That's usually the best strategy beyond 3" or so in diameter. If you post the specific container you're using, people may be able to help you with it. beesweet
It is a 16 oz. dodecagon jar. It looks to be a hair over 3" in diameter. I think the only wicks I have in larger sizes are the htp's. The cd 20-22's work great for normal scents, but these spicy ones are a little too much. It is soooo close...edited to add: I'm really not comfortable double-wicking these jars with the smaller mouth and shoulder.
kandlekrazy
My 3 1/8" container I wick with either a CD20 or a 62C (cotton). The 62C works for almost all scents.
