Hi,

I was wondering what you thought the easiest way to break this wax would be. Thanks for any ideas!!:smiley2:

I use a screwdriver and a mallet!

I put a slab in an old pillowcase and hit with a sledge hammer!

i usually put it in a 13 gallon garbage bag the hammering it... have also put it in freezer for a few minutes too sometimes to make it a little more brittle...

I also put mine in an old pillow case and slam it against my concrete porch. I am quite sure my neighbors think I am insane. My neighbors clothes line faces my porch and one day she was hanging out laundry when I went outside with my pillowcase and began to slam it against the porch to break it up, she was staring at me like I was crazy but never said a word!

Knife and hammer for me.

I put mine in the freezer for a few minutes to make it more brittle and then I put in a box at an angle and hit it with a hammer. The wax broke into good size pieces that way.

I am going to try the pillowcase on concrete method next time though!!

I use the pillow case. I lay it on my desk chair at an angle, and whack it with a rubber mallet. Breaks into manageable pieces, and it is quick.
