barncat
I am up to about a dozen pots now that have pin holes in them! Some have 3-4. Any ideas what causing this or hot to fix them?
Candybee
Have no idea. How long have you had them? If they are new I would just inform the supplier and send them back for replacement pots.If they are old maybe they are just shot. Tehehe! (Sorry-- couldn't help it!) David Fields
I assume you put them in water to either heat the wax or to heat the wax for repours or to clean them? If so, then I will also assume than either the pots or the pot with water in it is aluminum and the other is steel or copper? If so, then you are experiencing a chemical reaction between the two different metals; the softer metal (aluminum) develops pin holes that will eventually leak. Only solution is to use the same materials. HTH

LanaH
I have a couple that were leaking around the handle and just ran a bead of silicone right around the handle to stop the leaking. You might be able to close the holes off with that.
