Patty
How do you keep from getting wet spots on candles?
PurpleHippie
Hello and welcome. You will probably find a ton of information using the search feature but here is just one of the post that may be useful.http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51398&highlight=wet+spotsSome wax just seems to be more prone to wet spots than others. However, don't drive yourself crazy focusing on the wet spots. You may make a batch of wet spot free candles only to have them appear several days later. If your candle test well, good cold and hot throw, correct melt pool, container not too hot...you may have to over look wet spots from time to time. terryb44256
Hi and welcome Patty. Sometimes I think wet spots are a neccessary evil to container candles. One day they arent there and the next day they are. I used to worry about them on my pint jars but i think i worried more than my customers. Now when I do 4oz or 8oz jelly jars i get the quilted ones and you hardly can see any spots...

Gdawg
lol henry...I hate wet spots and tried everything I could think of to stop them from appearing but they were always there, so now I have switched wax and deal with the frosting instead
macaroni&cheese
Welcome to the forum, Patty. As was already mentioned, wet spots are a seemingly necessary evil...that's why I like to use frosted containers from Libbey Glass, these seem to blend a bit better with the deal, and are forgiving to Ecosoya's pulling away "feature."
