nikkidan
Are there any EO's that should NOT be used in lotion or any other B&B products?
beck180
It all comes down to the product you use. Most fragrances for soap and B&B products are used with a cutting agent to make it gentle enough for skin. There are suppliers that sell multiple grades of oils just for this purpouse. As with anything, you should always test them first!
SheilaW
I would do a lot of research on EO's before putting them in any product but particularly in a leave on product.
Morganst
you really do have to be careful with EO's and make sure you only use tiny amounts (especially in leave-ons). Some EO's can't be used by pregnant women or people with high blood pressure etc etc. You really need to research. Check out camden grey's website. There's a wealth of EO information there.Good Luck
RobinInOR
There are lots of EOs that may not be particularly safe. Either they shouldn't be used at all, or their concentration should be very low.http://eethomp.com/AT/safety_gateway.html is a good resource, and the industry limits at the IFRA and CIR are a good place to start. http://www.ifraorg.org/GuideLines.asphttp://www.cir-safety.org/staff_files/unsafe.pdf
Crafty1_AJ
Watch out for bergaptene, found in citrus oils. They are photosensitizers.
