  1. Hi Everyone! I just had to share this picture. I made a batch of Wild Patchouli swirled in the pot. Look what I found when I cut it - 4 of them had this pattern:
  2. Sunfeather also offers a kit in various flavors!
  3. Yes, I do CPOP all my batches and I use Mr. Do Right molds sometimes. They're fine in the oven at 170 degrees anyway. Good luck!
  4. I Love the Peaks Asian Sandalwood. It has a hint of leather smell to it too! The scent does stick around too!
  5. Has anyone tried Peaks pumkin FO? I'm curious.
  6. I actually like pumpkin spice by Sweet Cakes. It smells so good and behaves well in CP.
  7. Thanks all. Carrie - I'll definatey try that next time, thanks Keeping my fingers crossed that my oils arrive tonight so I can soap this weekend!
  8. Hi All, I haven't posted in forever. Here's my latest creation. It's peppermint/chocolate. I colored with cocoa powder
  9. ...and I'll bet they'll sell like hot cakes!!!
  10. I have the same thing going on with this one batch of soap that's already fully cured. It gets sweat beads and I go and wipe them down every other day. can't wait for winter!!!
  11. Bummer - This would have been my first gathering too. If it doesn't fly, will we be refunded?
  12. Thank Goodness someone asked. I've been battling with taking pictures for MONTHS. I almost believe I can do this!!!! Thanks you guys:yay:
  13. Sorry for the delay. I totally forgot about the thread. I purchased it from brambleberry. You need just a tiny bit (I used a about 4 toothpicks full - if that makes sense) and that was for the blue tops on 30 bars!!!
  14. The best possible outcome would be for her to just send new soaps and let you dump the bad ones. I'll keep my fingers crossed!! Is there no way for you to get lye there?
  15. That's terrible!!! You are well within your rights to make a big stink about it. Have you contacted her to let her know? I think she should replace the bad batches definately. Let us know how it goes S
  16. I just recently used ultramarine blue oxide in a batch. I used a very small amount and got the following: HTH
  17. Last night DH enters the kitchen and says "what you doing - rebatching soap"? I almost bloody well fell over. I asked him "what the hell do you know about rebatching soap" then he admits he's been reading my bleedin' soap books..... WTF????
  18. CONGRATULATIONS - I hope everything goes really well for you. Better start planning for bigger and better things ahead S
  19. That's rather odd. Since they're having their semi-annual maybe that's when they sell off their "seconds" - like products with mis-printed labels etc? I say you draw some bright red pimples on your face, take a picture and send it off to their HQ with a threatening letter about being allergic to water or something stupid like that That should teach them.
  20. You have a great name and logo and I want to tell you to LEAVE IT ALONE but all honesty I can't because I'm the exact same way as you are. I have changed my labels FOUR times already in under a year. My website has changed twice and is being overhauled once more as I type. I tell myself that I must be sick. It's painful to make the same soap recipe twice. I wish every batch could be different and unique. I never thought of it as being a sign of creativity. S
  21. I like very much. I need more molds too. Hmmmm, I may have to order one from you! S
  22. Also, I find too much CO tends to be drying on the skin. I use a combo of CO, PO & PKO (ratio of 2:1:1)
