KristinesShower
I am making dead sea mud soap, mask and scrub and would like to tie them all together with the same type of "spa" scent. I want to use only essential oils & am at a loss for what would be a good blend. I have every EO there is - I went crazy and bought at least ½oz of each one just in case I needed it lolAny help is greatly appreciated! Sara
I don't know how I'd round it off, but I definitely picture some Peppermint in there.
sudsnwicks
I've heard lavender and tea tree are good for facial products. Plus a little bit of mint to give it a spa feel.
shutterbugg
Ive been experimenting with peppermint EO in my facial scrubs. Im thinking this would make a awesome facial mask.. You feel so fresh when you are done, might be nice!
debscent
My experiences at spas (as a client) has been: ginger, mint & rosemary and grapefruit. I personally liked the mint myself.
The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
Not crazy about the company, but " Spa" from Candlewic is just right."Relaxation" from Taylored Concepts was a winner with our Estheticians.

I have a client that is being very strict with me and will only use EO's. I went to Candlewic, but I only seen their EO page, but no "Spa" - is it a blend? Sara
I don't know what the heck it was, but Teresa made a facial scrub that was the BOMB, baby. And it smelled really... hmm, I guess you'd say neutral. It was fresh and clean, but not overly done. I really liked it (can ya tell). :rolleyes2 Not sure if it was an EO blend, but whatever was in it, I liked.
The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
Kristine, SPA is a FO ( and a blend ) from Candlewic...I apologize! I reread your post and see that you want EO's only ( which in my opinion creates some challenges )HTHM
meghand
I like a blend of lavender, peppermint, rosemary and a smidge of tea tree. Very clean smelling!
cindym
I love Lavender with something citrus, maybe grapefruit, or orange.
Jeana
I recently made a body butter that I used geranium, rose, and lavender. I have been getting some very positive feedback on it. Smellers say it smells really clean. I know many people who don't like minty smells so I thought I would not over do them in my body care products. Plus practically everyone uses some type of mint for spa stuff. Are you using the essential oils for a specific purpose like dry or oily skin? This makes a big diffence on what oils you want to use? KristinesShower
I think I came up with a great EO blend for this mud thing I am doing. Thanks to everyone for helping me decide which EO's I wanted to use. I have decided to use equal parts of lavender, orange and peppermint. It is very refreshing and 5 out of 5 employees enjoyed the freshness!!
sudsnwicks
That sounds like a very nice blend. Good luck with the new line!
