I infuse annatto seeds in my olive oil but if you are using M&P you might want to buy it in powder form and just add it to the soap base.2) Madder Root Powder- A beautiful cranberry color. Just add a bit to your soap base. It will float to the top of your soap and almost look like it is sprinkled. Pink clay...Sandalwood powder to a degree.Chlorophyll will fade over time, especially in sunlight. Kelp will color also, but use sparingly or your soap can smell like dead fish :undecidedPaprika turns a nice peach, but can be scratchy if you use too much. Cinnamon and cocoa will both color a brown soap, but cinnamon can be a sensitizer for many and can also be a bit abrasive. Alkanet root added to lye water will change to a lavender.
