racooper
Hello all I made several container candles this evening and noticed what appeared to be lipids. (ya know fat:shocked2: ) They have turned into beautiful candles but I have never had this occur before. Any ideas as to what caused this? wax is a container blend from peak so I used good stuff.thanks in advance
SatinDucky
Sounds like the FO didn't bind well. How much per pound did you use? What temp did you mix at and how long did you stir it?

Reese
Did you use any additives to it? Sometimes additives will cause that type of look.
Jcandleattic
Did you use any additives to it? Sometimes additives will cause that type of look. That's what it sounds like to me too. Even if you didn't add any yourself, sometimes the manufacturer of the wax is inconsistant from batch to batch and will have too much of one additive or another. That's why it's important to test with each new batch of wax you get, just to make sure it behaves the same way.
