jes432
I know what you mean when our power goes out, which it has a lot this season, my husband is actually happy that I have so many candles around.
countrychunkie
Same here, we had some pretty bad storms roll in a few weeks ago and our power went out, several times for a few minutes at a time and then it went out for about an hour. My candles were lit all over the house, so we had light, and a darn good smellin house to boot!
blazerina
In the fall I had complained to hubby about the price of Emergency candles. He didn't understand why I needed them.... don't I make candles? Um... News flash dear....they are tarts. They don't offer much in the way of light. Men. :rolleyes2

Sally
I keep my "not quite right" candles just for that reason, we don't usually get many power cuts, only 2, 8 hour ones so far this winter, but at least I knew we'd be able to see where we were going & I have an open fire so I cook on there if I need to.The kids love power cuts!Sally.Sally. Crafty1_AJ
We once hauled water out of the sump in our basement by candlelight at like 5 a.m. because the power was out. LOL
