  1. We are in one here and we pay $35 a month for it. We have 2 huge shelving units in the area, they are 8 ft shelves with 4 compartments each in them and it is right up in front of the store. We do ok there anytime but the summer months.
  2. There is also starville soap and candle supply out of Tyler. We use their Butt Naked, Creme Brulee and Bird of Paradise. We have tried others but these are the best we have found. They get oos alot on creme and butt but we try and order as much as we can to avoid running out. HTH.
  3. I use starville candle and soap supplis for BOP. It is awesome and have been told by many that it rivals a top candle companies. We sell the heck out of it.
  4. I also started with the votive kit from Cajun, and I was completely hooked. And then I just researched everything I could to figure out containers, and wax and FO's. It took a while to get my wicking right, but I got it. Just take your time, research, and test and do more research and test, test, test. You will need to test all your fragrance oils and containers, and wicks. But to me all the money and time testing, and researching was well worth it. It took me about 2 years before I was ready to sell anything. And the people here are so helpful, even now 7 years in, I am still learning something new everyday. Good luck to you!
  5. Can not help you on where, but they are so cute. Love them. Good luck on finding them. Someone will come along that will know.
  6. I am with you Toni on the Creme Brulee selling, we sell it year round like hotcakes. But I would tell you to have plenty of bakery on hand. Anything that reminds people of the holidays and the cooking sells. Christmas Splendor, Apple Jack and Peel, and cider smells do well too. But just bakery in general does well for us. HTH
  7. We use the round cups similar to the oval ones and we get ours at sams club. We and our customers love them. So easy to do. But whiff I am with you. At our monthly show, we have people that ask us if they just throw the cup in the melter???? We are just like duh.....no you take it out of the cup and then put the melt in. It is too funny to see people look at them. Most people think they are just samples of our candles, so they are not opening all the jars. We sell the heck out of them.
  8. I will be another oddie, but Just By Nature has the best cake scent we have found, and it is our number one seller. They call it Birthday Cake.
  9. I have placed 2 orders with them and they got my orders right out. Great customer service, always answer my questions quickly. And I was also told that they wattage is 24. I know they get hot as the dickens...LOL Work very, very well. I came here looking for other wholesale places for the more decorative warmers, and bulb warmers and am checking into Jackel now. But love candlewarmers.com!
  10. Thank you all so much for your replies, they are so appreciated. Do you find that the electric warmers with the dishes on top get warmer therefore putting off better scent throw, or do the bulb electric onese do better? I get a 50/50 mixed reaction on tealight warmers. Some say they do really well, some say that they do not put the scent out there as good as electric. Thanks!
  11. Are there other companies out there that really have these wholesale besides levines? I am looking for electric, bulb, and tealight ones. Can anyone help me. I think maybe I am wording my searches wrong on google or something. Thanks!
  12. I do not use DIY, but thinking of switching to them. But I do use one of the graphic people there, Cheryl Sesler, she is awesome. And can do all sorts of graphics. She has a site, www.primgraphics.com. She will do what ever graphics you want her to, not just prim. Mine are not prim, country but not prim at all. I have used her several times and so have many of my friends. I will never use anyone other than her.
  13. I know Sheila the girl who runs the candle buzz, and who also owns gramma frans fixins, she is on the up and up. Wonderful person! Never have I known her to do anything wrong to anyone. I have swapped candles with her and such years ago. Give it a try, I hear she has a good thing going with those boxes. Let us know how it goes for you!
  14. My boss does this same thing, lights my candles and lets them burn, most times leaves and forgets to extinguish them. I have told him that I will not sell him another candle until he stops this. I told him I do not want that weighing on me. He is just absent minded he says and everything has always been fine with him doing it that way. I told him it will not always be fine, someday he will regret how he burns candles. I told him I am coming over there and going to show him how to take care of his candles. He thinks you should not have to trim wicks. I think he thinks it is too labor intensive for him. LOL I love him to death but will not enable him with my canldes!
  15. I use the thank you bags as well from sams. Much cheaper to use for as many as I need.
  16. I make my own using printmaster. I love it, it has so many template in there. I use round and rectangle natural kraft labels I buy from brownkraftlabels.com She has good prices by the sheet. My labels come out good everytime. I got the program at sames, I got the gold edition I think. It was 39.95 it has everything on it. There is a smaller version of it at Walmart for 19.95. HTH
  17. Never heard of this happening on a warmer. But if I had to guess I would go with a jar defect. I have gotten masons out of my cases and had some that had hairline cracks down the jar or across. But it was so not noticable. I barely saw one, and the other did not notice till I had it poured, but they were cracks all the way down and the other all the way across. Hope you find out why and how. And be glad that it was your friend and not a customer!
  18. Is that heart the 16 oz one like you get at walmart? I use 3 51 C's in that and it is perfect. Been doing those about 3 years now at valentines no problems. But I use a 70/30 soy/para blend.
  19. I would try a 51 C in that and see what happens. I have had good luck with that in a 70/30 soy/para blend.
  20. May be a stupid question but what is MMS? Never heard of them????
  21. Thank you all so much for your help with this color. I did the yellow and a bit more red, and just played until I got it where I wanted it to be. Came out beautiful! I was needing it for Grapefruit Vanilla fo. i love playing but was in a crunch and went blank on which colors I needed to use. You all are so helpful here Thanks!
  22. How can I achieve this color? I think it would be orange and pink right? Almost like the color of the inside of a pink grapefruit but not as deep redish as that. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Kim
  23. Same here, we had some pretty bad storms roll in a few weeks ago and our power went out, several times for a few minutes at a time and then it went out for about an hour. My candles were lit all over the house, so we had light, and a darn good smellin house to boot!
  24. I make chunk candles, and I use ez soy/4630 blend, and my candles are great! Used to use the 223 before 4630 and those were good as well. I have never used the j50 so I can't speak for that wax. All my chunks are colored and over poured with just the natural color of the wax. I have had no trouble at all, I make containers and melts. HTH. Maybe someone that has used your wax will come along and be able to help you more. Have a great night! Kim:grin2:
