Everyone burned out by the holidays? I know some of you are madly working on V day stuff, what kind of red and pink are you doing?

Me, I'm working on EO lipbalms, trying to get the flavors right. That's probably it, along with designing their labels..

This is candle weekend! I'm planning to:

1. work on my containers - still re-doing and re-doing my initial ones cause I don't like how they are coming out. (got a list of thins to do to try and improve)

2. try my first pillars.

I do have some cute heart-shaped bowls from Michael's I might try but I think that's advanced for me at this point!

still testing Enchanted Lites 2 container waxes.....my tealight testers yesterday went just over 7 hours!!!

I have done absolutely nothing all week, shut the door to my candleroom and haven't stepped inside since monday. I think I am going to head out tomorrow and see what kind of V day things I can find at walmart and the dollar store. I have some pillars to test because after a year at it, I still can't perfect these babies to the point where I would sell them. Other than that, maybe scrape some wax off the floor under my work table and do some organizing? Hope everyone enjoys their weekend, be it candle or soap making or just relaxing.

What? Am I the only one getting started on inventory!! LMAO!

If I pour, it will be to clear pots of BRV and Fall Festival and whatever else was left in there. I stopped pouring in late in November so we could just watch our stocked supplies go down. Gotta get the inventory done before I can do anything more, like get things going for this year. And that bites, because show season starts up for us in March.

i will be working on my website like crazy. My husband will be out of town and i plan on plopping the girls in front of the boob tube this weekend so i can work on it.

Getting ready for V-day! I've already made about 200 heart shaped tarts and that's just the beginning. Have to open the shop this weekend, so I'll probably be pulling some late nights this weekend. Anyone else frantically getting thier Valentine items prepared?

Well I ordered tons of 4 & 8oz samplers but they aren't here so I doing a little M & P soap for me until they do. Have to work on taxes as well. I will also strip and repaper the pour table and wick jars!

Time to start testing all the samples I bought before the Holidays. Need to do some testing on the palm wax in 16 oz Apoth jars. Also getting ready for inventory & taxes, yeehaw!!
