kforbs126
Anyone ever buy scents off of ebay.I'm looking at a few sellers right now that seem to have good deals on fo's but is this too good to be true.
Sherri in Canada
Usually it is.....unless they have a website to back up their products, I usually stay clear. The few experiences I had were low grade and weak scents. :undecided
grandmaskitchen
There are two sources on eBay that offer great scents: CandleChem and The Candle Source. I have bought from both of these and have great results from their fragrance oils. All others (though they offer great deals) are just watered down scents that do not work very well in wax. Luci
I agree with grandmaskitchen. BTW--The Candle Source's prices are a little lower on their website than on ebay.
LoveOfTarts
eBay is just like the real world. There are good suppliers and there are bad, both on eBay and on websites. You pay your money, you take your chances.
Candlebuddy
Candlechem is a great supplier ... if you buy off their ebay store ... they give you FREE SHIPPING on the purchase of 6 or more of the 2oz size. A 2oz sample is $2.95.
Scented
Goodness is Creative Candle Supply not selling on eBay any more?
asheebeans
I used to buy from AH/RE when they would have their 4 oz'ers on ebay....great way to sample a few fragrances! They haven't had any fragrances listed in a long time though....
soycrazy
I was thinking of buying from CandleChem or Candle Source they seem to have a nice selection. I just put a order in at Gelluminations, because they had their 1oz oils for $1 each I've been ordering a lot from them lately :smiley2:
gingerinarkansas
I used to buy SNC oils on ebay. The oils were great, the customer service was pathetic. RE/AH now carries those oils and sometimes they have some on Ebay at really good prices. I've never bought a bad oil off ebay...knock on wood. dovestudios
Both times I purchased fragrance oils on ebay, they smelled like cigarette smoke...yup the oils not just the bottles... YUK! It was two different suppliers too. I don't remember who they were though. I was so sad. I would rather pay more and have the assurance that what I am getting is good stuff from reputable suppilers.Donna
