  1. Well it looks like I finally got this resolved. I posted on their wall about an hour ago and they said they would credit my account. They also said that what I had wasn't normal and they contacted the manufacturer. At least they finally resolved it just think it's crazy they don't respond to emails.
  2. I think I may go with the raspberry lemonade. I love the cactus and sea salt, I just soaped with it this past weekend.
  3. Yep Indiana Candle Supply. The ones I've had before are wonderfully strong.
  4. Well I will see if they email me back. Unfortunately they are only open 900 to 430 eastern time and I work 6 to 2 pacific time. I work in a top secret building so we can't have cell phones and I can't make calls at work that aren't in house. It stinks but I always communicate through email and if necessary people will call me. I'd hate to have to stop buying from them as I would have to test a whole line of lip balm again.
  5. I've ordered from there in the past and everything was great. I want to try more again in the 10 sampler pack. I've searched the forum and found most of my answers but I can't decide on the last 2. Help! For sure ordering(unless someone convinces me not to) Pizzelle Peach Cobbler Wildberry Mousse Baked Apples Serendipity coffee bean Orange Vanilla Coffee Lemon Meringue Toss up: Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies Blue Raspberry Icee Pumpkin Spice Latte Already have: Sugared Spruce Cactus & Sea Salt Hillbilly Homebrew Cookie Dough Zucchini Bread Cinnamon Buns Old
  6. Has anyone had any problems with them? Back in mid February, I contacted them via Facebook message about an issue I had with one of their products. Someone responded that they would look into it and get back to me asap. I never heard back. Sent another message on Facebook and nothing. A week after that I sent an email to info@naturesgarden.com and nothing. I'm really disheartened that they haven't responded to emails or fb messages. I sent another email tonight to see if I'd get a response and told them about all the non-responses I've had. I really love this product but this is very poor service.
  7. Looks like 3/4 lol I read 3/24 and almost had a heart attack as I was going to place an order today and want to do it asap.
  8. I just did one from essential depot and it comes with a really nice reusable silicone mold. It comes with everything you need including lye. http://www.essentialdepot.com/servlet/the-560/Bonnie's-Triple-Butter--dsh-/Detail

    Incense

Makes sense. I never thought of that. So I looked some up. Do you do something like this? It stands on the floor http://www.storesupply.com/pc-12690-850-spinner-rack-4-tier-wire-63-12h-60108.aspx

    Incense

Yeah I knew I should bring it, just don't know how to display it. I was not planning on doing shows anytime soon but was specifically asked to do this. Is laying them out on the table ok? I just have a few baskets which I am using for my soap.
  11. I plan on starting to test my palm wax with soy 464 but wonder how to figure out the pour temp and when to add fo. I plan on starting out with 70/30 Palm/Soy and working from there I'm using palm feather wax IGI R-2779 and GW 464 Melting point: Typical ~ 130 deg. F Maximum fragrance retention is 5% Recommended pour temperatures are in the range of 180-210 deg. F GW464 melt point of 115-120 Recommended pour temp is 130 deg. F-140 deg. F. Recommended fragrance usage is 6% - 9%. Thanks in advance

    Incense

For those that sell incense, do you guys bring it to craft shows? I have a craft show saturday and I'm up in the air whether to bring it or not. I sell a good amount online but have no idea if it's something to bring to a show. I'm doing my soaps, lip balm and wax melts, so I could have some space for incense.
  13. Thanks for the info, I think I may try them in sample sizes Belinda what kind of wax do you use?
  14. I wanna try her too since she's local in Ohio but I've heard equal good and bad. Her prices on the bodacious buys are really really good but I'm just wondering if they are not strong.
  15. Thanks for replying. I actually decided last night to just go for it. I mean it's good marketing, a lot of military wives who buy buy buy and I maybe one of the only actual crafters there so that may help. My main focus these days is soap and incense. I've been selling a ton. I still do wax melts but decided to scale back as it's hard to sell them online and not in person but this maybe my break to sell more. This will give me experience for the future shows I will do when I move back to Ohio. It'll be good to have some practice setting up the table and stuff.
  16. So I was just asked to do a craft fair/relay for life event, March 1st by a lady who saw my Facebook page. It's from 10-2, has 50 booths, $30 booth fee and you have to bring your own 6 foot table(I don't have). Only 1 other soaper and she hasn't paid her fee yet. I've never done a craft show and really wasn't going to until I moved back to Ohio. Now this pops up and I have no idea what to do. I'm not sure how much product I would even need to make or bring. I've been selling a ton of soap and incense online the past few months and some wax melts. I do the rubber ducky soap and I do have the pink breast cancer ones and a few others that I would make. (I'm not sure that these are a hit, I just added some to my line). I have plenty of wax melts made up so I'd be ok there. I would have to make some other soap(I do just novelty ones) and I also have a bunch of lip balm made up. I'm just not sure how much to bring/make. Of course no one ever wants to undershoot an estimate but how much is too much for a 4 hour 1 day show? Anyways I need help deciding. Thanks in advance.
  17. I do melts along with my other products. I carry about 30 different fragrances right now. I usually have 10 already pre made at all times in every FO I carry. I do that so I can restock at my own pace.
  18. They said they aren't cut with anything, so it's odd to me that they sell them like that. Every time I go in there people always come in to buy an once or whatever size for cologne/perfume.
  19. My local supplier for incense also sells body oils. Today i was in and they were telling me all about it. Just buy the specific body oil you want, fill the bottle and your done. Not cutting the oil with anything. Is this ok to do? I've looked online and it seems everyone cuts their with coconut oil or jojoba oil.
  20. I know this doesn't answer your question but I'm curious to how you blend your soy and palm. I use feather palm and would like to blend it with something.
  21. Peak is $20 off $100. NG is also doing 5% off today.
  22. Cool did not notice that. Thanks
  23. Any suggestions? I'm torn if I'm gonna order or not. I wish they had 4 oz instead of 1 oz and 8 oz and above.
  24. Aztec is having a <edited> sale. I've read through this board and it seems the majority don't like their FO's or I've even read that they are diluted and that's why they are so cheap? Can anyone confirm or deny this? Or suggest if there are any good FO's?
  25. This is exactly what I do too. Plus with USPS if you buy online postage it's cheaper than going to the post office. It seems like some of these companies want to make money on their shipping instead of products they sell.
