Trucha
That's such a great idea! I have to try that one day!
Stella1952
These are so elegant - I am not sure they even NEED decoration! In the center of a table wreath, etc., they would be absolutely stunning. Sometimes simple is better! Good job!!
Lugnut
I have no idea what a baloon hurricane is but they look real good, great job.
macyboutique
Those are nice looking candles...are they similar to the hurricane candle? Those look easier than the hurricane but the only difference is the decorating...hurricane seem like they are easier to design and with the balloon you are mention painting...how else can they be decorated? But they are beautiful.

Stella1952
Lugnut, a "balloon hurricane" is a wax globe (or luminary) formed not by molding, but by dipping/holding a balloon filled with water into wax until it forms a shell. The photo shows a perfect example of how these beauties look. If anyone is interested in the specifics of how to make these, just search the forums for the word "balloon" and I'm sure you'll find more information. Donita makes some lovely examples with pressed flowers on them and has shared a lot of "how to" info here.
Lugnut
Thanks Stella1952, they look like they would be fun to make. I'm gonna have to go searching now.
