jillgunter
Are they pretty safe to use? I would guess you would need to place them on a heat safe plate? I am thinking of trying them, what are your opinions on them? Thanks:)
pdevine
I sell tons of them and they are safe. HTH Portia
eugenia
Unlike glass, they cannot break but do get hot. Love them!e
Country Crafter
We love tins too! Unlike glass they are very forgiving, if the top pour looks good you got it made, lol, no wet spots. As was said, they do get hot, test your wicking carefully and make sure you burn each tester right to the end, they tend to "pick" up because of the heat near the end of the burn. Our labels state to burn on a heat resistant surface. We have poured hundreds this year for our fundraisers, so easy and they sell well. Here is a pic of ours.Wendy
Sndfrddy
When I test burn mine, they are sitting on a wood clearcoated ledge. Nothing underneath. I have been doing this for 3 years and no damage what so ever.
tx_bckrsn
what seems to be the most popular size?
Crafty1_AJ
The 4 oz. are most popular with me, because they're easier to wick. lol
jillgunter
What size wick do you usually use in a 4 oz or 8 oz. I seen peaks sells a kit with the wax I use(4630), and 8 oz tins with zinc 51s. Do you think that is a good size?
