Dahlia
Just an idea I'm toying with, was just wonder if anyone else does this and if they still sell good. TIA for any replies:D !
StephD
I do not put color in mine, but right now I'm just doing melts (clamshells). Also, I am just starting to sell them, but from everybody that has seen them/tested them they have no complaints. Stephanie

mrchips
No colour here either. How many times did I hear...'I like the fragrance but not the colour''I like the colour but not the fragrance'Mr Chips.
Maggie
No colour here either. How many times did I hear...'I like the fragrance but not the colour''I like the colour but not the fragrance'Mr Chips.DITTO. Hate it when you lose a sale because the color of the candle wouldn't match their decor. Maggie
LoveOfTarts
I only make tarts so far, but I buy all my soy candles from a lady who has only white candles.
Cindy/WI
I've had many customers tell me they liked the fact that I don't color my candles b/c they don't have to worry about matching the color with their rooms. Then on the other hand latly I've had people ask my why they were all the same color. I just explain to them how natural soy wax is and to add anything more to them than scent it's taking away to much of the naturalness of the candle. And most of them tell me that it makes sense. So no color here. HTH Cindy/WI
lindsaycb
No color in my 100% soy...but I color my soy/para blend. So they have two options really.
OH Cathy
When I made my first soys for sale I did not color them and they sold just fine, not a peep out of any customer.I have since put back color because I missed it, not because any one complained.I was suprised that no color sold as well as colored, each one had a different ivory look because of the colors of the fragrance oils. Dahlia
I didn't think about ppl being picky about colors.
escentiallysoy
I seem to sell more when I don't use coloring. I too have lost sales because someone didn't like the color. So I am not going to use the color anymore and so far it has gone really well.

Joeysgirl
It's funny, some prefer no color then a lady buys a candle because it matches her room. No one can ever know. But I myself do most of my stuff without and some have muted colors. It's always a toss up.
bassgal71
I've recently started to leave mine plain. I had an ordeal wtih some bad wax and I went a few round without color and no one seems to mind. I do color my paraffin pillar candles though. theoldehearth
I've had people just randomly picked out the candles just for their colors never minding what scents they are.
