Wanting to achieve a certain color

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know what I could use in color blocks, straight parrifin to achieve a sage green or sometimes I have heard it called muted green. Sorta like the color of yankee's meadow mist or sage & citrus color. I was thinking use either a sage, hunter, or kelly color lightly with some added brown to sorta mute it??? Any ideals on what to use would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jane

If you add a little brown to green, you will begin to get into the olive shades. I use a drop of brown with 2 drops of green/pound of wax to get an olivy color for my Nantucket Briar. I'm thinking sage green would be in that range.
