pdevine
I have started to dabble into B&B products and bath bombs have been tested to death and I'm finally satisfied with the results of the recipe I'm using. Now that I have that down pat, I have NO idea as to how I want to package them. I am using the meatballer to make them, the regular sized one and the smaller one. I am thinking of packaging 1 large bomb and then maybe package several in one of those galvanized tubs. I just haven't seen many different way to package them, so I'm at a lost here. Any suggestions from you "Bombers",,,,,,? LOL TIA Portia
Meridith
You can individually shrink wrap them or put them in individual cello bags and tie with a ribbon. That is what I do but I am always looking for ways to change and improve.
sudsnwicks
I don't make bath bombs, but I think they would look cute in a cello bag tied with raffia or ribbon.
Candle Man
You could wrap them in the metallic foil and leave enough extra at the ends to twist and look like candy. You can't see through the metallic, so if you wat to see the product the other ways suggested are best.
pdevine
Candleman, I love the idea of metalic wrap, but labeling looks like it might be a problem that way. I had thought about the cello bags. I would like to package them that way, but I would love to find something so that I could package like 4 or 6 in a package also. I was thinking maybe like the 4pk votive containers or something. I'm still tossing this idea around. Thanks to all for the advice/suggestions. ladysj
You could make hang tags for the foil wrapped ones. I like that foil idea. Thanks Candleman.
MichelleOH
When I carried Bombs I wrapped them in colored foil and packaged them in frosted chinese take out boxes. I could fit six in a box. People loved them.
pdevine
Where do you find the metalic foil? TIA Portia
Candle Man
Where do you find the metallic foil? TIA PortiaYou can get the Metallic in pre-cut sheets or in rolls @ Nashville Wraps http://www.nashvillewraps.com/ShowSku.ww?Class=019&Type=056ETA - This is not like the thin candy foil, it is thicker sorta like cello with metallic colors. pdevine
Thanks a bunch Candleman! I was just looking through their catalog last night and that didn't look to me like it would stay in place that good. I did wonder though if it would work or not. I need to place an order with them NOW, but not enough to meet the $50 min. I know I have seen somewhere else that sells the candy wrapper type stuff, but for the life of me can't remember where I've seen it. Guess I'll keep searching. Thanks,,,,Portia
lots_n_more
There is a nashville wraps co-op going on right now portia. I think it said it ends the 14th.
pdevine
Lots n More: Yea, I saw that, but I am NC, 20 miles from the NC/TN line and the one that is putting on the co-op is in TX. Bad thing is, Nashville Wraps isn't but about 1 3/4 hrs away, but I can't see driving that far to p/u an order that isn't even $50 and plus I don't have time to. Guess I will just wait until I need more from them. Sucks sometimes,,,,,,LOL Portia

pdevine
Those are too stinking cute! I might have to check into those. Wouldn't the plastic one's be really flemzie with the weight of 4 bombs? They are too cute. TIA Portia

Can you tell me what size you are using and do you use the plastic, foam or paper? Thanks,Bethany
RobinInOR
These are the egg cartons I usehttp://www.eggcartons.com/product-exec/product_id/390/nm/Sodesa_trade_4_Egg_Tri_Pack_Egg_Cartons_PLEG_4They still have an opening at the sides, and the bombs touch top and bottom, but there are little bumps on the side that do lock it closed.
