Jojo T.
This is the first time I have shared my candle experiences with the Forum, so I hope all goes well. I painted this one with a gas torch and dye chips after it was made. I'd welcome any feedback.
Mozzie
Jo, that looks great although your method has me awestruck. I'll send you a pm as I live about 30 minutes away from you in Belair. Maureen
Lolas Lights
That is really neat looking. I'd try that but nobody will let me get close to a torch....:rolleyes2
Scented
Really cool! I think is beautiful
SatinDucky
Ummm... BIG pic Your candle is very pretty! I would be afraid there would be nothing left but a wick if I got a torch near one
wildangel112
Very nice job. I'd never be brave enough to get near a candle with a torch.

Donita
That looks very cool. I haven't tried that technique. I did pour wax on a cookie sheet and then "paint" the wax marbled colors then cut it up to make large chunks. Then embeded them in a large pillar. I thought it was cool but only sold a few. I think I like your idea better. Donita

kate
Very cool! I can't imagine taking a torch to a candle though, if I did it, there wouldn't even be a wick left!
sharyl55
I love it. Very artistic. Looks like a muted abstract painting. Like Lola, no one will let me near a blow torch. Would love to see more pictures of your creations.
BruceCarvesWax
Thats cool. I never used dye chips, but I make some of my mushrooms with powdered dye and use a blow torch to make the colors run all over.Bruce
Mtngrl
I'm not sure that I understand your process, but you've got a wonderful 'marble' there. Nice job. You use your torch well.
