Joeysgirl
I use the double boiler method of melting my soy wax and use the aluminium pouring pitcher but I was wondering if there was anthing else that might be ok to melt your wax in so I can make multiple batches. terryb44256
the presto kittchen kettle at walmart is great... a lot of the people here use them... i just use a ladle to get the wax from the kettle to my pour pot but some have added a spigot to pour from... there's instructions on here for how to add a spigot. wilsonswix
get yourself a great boyfriend who will buy you a wax melter for Christmas. I just love him. .... he's also good for building workspace, table, cabinets, airbrushed my tshirts, and aprons, bought me an EZ up, website for my birthday, AND bought my first candle from my website. What a guy!!PS for those of you who are married, you can substitute husband for boyfriend, unless you really want to add a BF LOL:DSeriously, the presto/turkey sounds like a smaller version of my melter. A spigot is essential. Mine in on the counter, spigot over the stool that has my scale and is the perfect height to pour into the pitcher that sits on the scale.Good luck!! Nicky
Presto user here. Love it. I don't have a spigot on mine yet, but I don't have any problems pouring my wax into a pour pot. I think it's a matter of preference.ETA: I don't sell or make large batches yet. I think that's why not having a spigot works for me.
