liberty
I was wondering if it is necessary to put warning labels on tarts since they aren't being burnt anyway,What kind of labels needs to put on tarts?
firstlady
yes you still need labels, the wax does get hot, as well as the dish or warmer its self. plus some people truely don't know how to melt them. i buy my tart warning labels from ky-candle. some people makes their own. i bag my tarts 6 to a bag... so i put a label on bag. unless they are for my kids ,
AngelaVA
Yes, you need a warning label. People do really stupid things.
Crafty1_AJ
I say something along the lines of "Keep out of reach of pets and children. Never leave hot wax unattended."
Candle Man
Here is the info on pre-printed labels from Kentucky Candle Wax Supply http://www.kycandlewaxsupply.com/warninglabels.htm scroll down to "tart" warning labels. There are other suppliers with warning labels too.You could also use this info and print your own.Failure to follow these directions could result in unexpected fire hazard or personal injury. Use only in well ventilated low heat potpourri burner without lid. Do not add water. Never heat on stove or electric appliance where temperature would exceed 190 degrees F. Melt enough product to have 1/2 inch of product in pot. Use only in melters designed for wax tarts.
