Nola
I've had much trouble with wicking this very cool wax. I'd love to add them to my fall/winter line, but can't get the wick right. In 3" diameter pillars I've tested #1/0, #2, and #5 square braid wicks, and 30 ply flat braid, and HTP 5. All were too small, except the #5 SB which was a little too large. What are you guys using? Nola
Sorry, I meant HTP105.
ladysj
I've not tried them yet but I read on another forum where they were having good results with the Eco 10. I used the RRD55 and am still testing.
Henryk
Hi Nola. The best wicks seem to be those with NST 2 treatments (like the LX24 through 30 or RRD 29 through 55) because of the acidity of the wax. Here is a thread you may want to read (I had the same issues you had with braids).http://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=veggiewax;action=display;num=1109546860;start=
CathyinME
Try the RRD's. They work best with the Palm waxes.
dcroome2005
I have some RRD's to test out, but I have had some nice burns with some fragrances using CD wicks Christina
Nola
Thanks you guys. I have some samples of #3 and #4 SB and RRD 55 coming soon (I hope!). I really like how this forum is so helpful with testing results. You are all very accomplished in the field. Hopefully I can learn something from you all!
