Things you use

if you use a baby formula can how can you get the pillar out because the inside of the can has ridges

I use a can opener to get the rim off. My formula cans have next to no ridges. The only thing is, they are literally one time use molds. I've had to tear apart the first one. The candle came out cute though. I put mold release in it, and nine times out of ten, it works.

When I first started out just about everything looked like a mold to me. And just about everything became a mold too lol!

That's funny because it was the same here. Anything was fair game to get a hole drilled in it:cheesy2:

plastic 20 oz pop bottles - right side up or upside down. Sprite made the cutest candles. Two liters became 3-wick molds. The are one-time use only, too, but they tear off really easy. I just cut them down to size and make a hole for the wick!
