cactusladycandles
I just received a lot of baby food jars from a member on this forum. The labels have been removed, but the glue is still on the jars. If I put them in the dishwasher, will the glue come off. Or, will i have to clean each one individually in hot water with a srubby.
NattyCat
spray them with WD40 - leave them for a little while, and the glue will come right off. Don't bother with the dishwasher, I've soaked jars for hours and the glue doesn't budge, but WD40 does the job!Nat

ladysj
The WD40 also works great for taking labels off of plastic bottles to. Just an FYI
chiptooth
I soak mine in very hot water and the tiny bit left, I just rub off with an SOS, also use the SOS to wipe off the date when it is stamped on the jar.
grandmaskitchen
I use Goo Gone to remove glue and old labels from everything. It works great, smells good, and is safe to use. Then, you can put them in the dishwasher or hand clean them afterwards.
