candlesprite7
Hey all! I fixed them! Here is an after picture to go with the one up top!
geekrunner
That kind of look is what you sometimes get with chunk pillars. I made quite a few chunkers last year with a clear overpour and it wasn't exactly smooth on the outside, due to the overpour cooling down when pouring over the chunks. It looks like your overpour is pretty opaque, so you probably got as good a look as you could expect. What you could do is use a clear overpour and after pouring, heat gun the outside of the mold for a minute or two to allow the overpour to flow around the chunks, then you may get a better smoother finish.Your pillars look pretty good! Pillars are probably more a work of art than utilitarian, so it's hard to find fault with one, since Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder HTH! geek

dandelion garden
I like the colors a lot. They remind me of a pink & grey formica counter top from a 50s kitchen. Very kitchy

candlesprite7
here you go...http://tinyurl.com/95oo7when you plunge the candle into the cold water leave it there for a minute....and dont do anymore than 3 dips...lol...i did more and it melted off too much wax and the chunky fell apart...lol
