shonda
i'm so excited to find this forum...it looks great and i know i will learn alot from you all.i have been a soaper for around 10 years, but just started selling wholesale last year. my little business has been great for the amount of time that i can invest in it.i have made candles since i was a little girl with my mother and have just made decorative holiday candles for friends and family...until now.i am expanding my soap business to include candles.i recently purchased a 200# wax melter and 'candle junk' from a friend who owned a florist and was tired of making candles. i really wasn't in the market for such a big melter...but it was what she had and i feel i got a good price for everything.sooooo, i am now in the process of reading everything i can about making a good burning and smelling candle. i am considering doing soy candles, since bluegrass candle is just 20 minutes away. (would save a boatload in shipping...woohoo!)thanks in advance for your time in answering my questions...i'm sure i will have alot!shonda

Mozzie
Hi Shonda, welcome aboard. As you are already a b&b'er you don't need to be told how addictive and expensive this candle making business can be but it sure is a lot of fun. I wish you all the best and am glad that your soap business is doing so well. Mozz
