Candybee
I haven't heard of mock orange either. Is it an orange scent or an imitation orange like Tang?
Daisymay66
My Mom used to have one growing outside her house. It was like a big flowering tree/bush. I thought that was the name of it cause that’s what she always called it. I am totally not a flowery kind of person but that smelled so AMAZING.. was wondering if there was a scent like it anywhere.... thanks for any help
Moonstar
Ok now I get it . So your talking about an Orange 🍊 blossom scent ?
Candybee
I agree. You should try looking for a good orange blossom scent. You get both that distinctive fresh orange with a floral in it. It smells fresh, citusy, and floral.
Sunday
Mock orange is an evergreen plant also known as Philadelphus. I think its named mock orange because it smells similar ...but not quite like orange blossoms...I agree with Candybee , your best bet might be an orange blossom scent
Daisymay66
AWESOME! Thank you all so much! I sure appreciate all the help!
Candybee
Actually it was Moonstar's idea. I was just backing her up because the orange blossom is also what I would use too! If you need a stronger green note in it you could always blend it with a nice lemon verbena.
