morethanrubies Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Now that I've finally found my wicks that are going to work for my Country Comfort jars, I was wondering, how do those that double wick get their wicks centered? I am hesitant to buy a double wick setter because it looks like it places the wicks rather far apart, from the look of the device. Is this correct? Placing them by hand is ok but I have had a few off center and that affected one of the sides not burning well. Thank you in advance! Quote
Moonstar Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I only have the single wick one and I love it. If you use the same jar maybe you can send them one + they can customize it for you. They offer that service for a small charge according to the listing. https://cart.candlesupply.com/EZ-Wick-Setter-Multi-pr-20003.html Quote
TallTayl Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 If I can't eyeball it, I'll make a little target on paper. Quote

Is this correct? The wick setter has several different settings depending on the diameter of the jar you are wicking. I have mine set so there is equal distance from the edge and each wick. Quote
Moonstar Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 What Jcandleattic said. To me, the wick setters are a life setter. No matter what, I could never center my wicks. Quote
grama Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I made a graph by putting the jar on stiff paper, drawing a circle around it then centering it (measure)and making marks where to put my wicks. Quote
