droidus
What is the best way to clean up wax-covered items, specifically the pouring jar?
SuzyK
When I first started doing wax melts, I would clean out the wax by putting the pouring pots upside down on a cookie sheet in the oven on warm. That got to be too time consuming so now I just wipe them out with a paper towel after I pour.
TallTayl
I scrape out as best I can then put upside down on my griddle that's already on in the shop.

That is exactly what I do if I need to clean at all (sometimes have a dedicated pot for same color or scent ... then, rarely an issue.) LRcandles
I use a old roasting oven ...kind of like this one. put it on 150 and takes only a few minutes for votive cups. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-20-Pound-Turkey-Roaster-with-High-Dome-Lid-14-Quart-Black/53986439?action=product_interest&action_type=title&beacon_version=1.0.2&bucket_id=irsbucketdefault&client_guid=3699a887-2d04-495e-82f1-bcdc31e33da5&config_id=106&customer_id_enc&findingMethod=p13n&guid=3699a887-2d04-495e-82f1-bcdc31e33da5&item_id=53986439&parent_anchor_item_id=39254918&parent_item_id=39254918&placement_id=irs-106-t1&reporter=recommendations&source=new_site&strategy=PWVUB&visitor_id=ZIfRkt1c9zCh7LKmlrhxpU
LRcandles
oops, I forgot I also put a layer of paper towels on the bottom to soak up the wax. I keep my heat low and keep a eagle eye on it. Ive been doing this for years. no mishaps.
