Detto
I was wondering after I pour the candle when can I move it? I use 464 and 8 oz mason jar. Also when can I cut the wick so I can put on the lid? Thanks, Detto
Trappeur
Don't quite understand when you can move it? You mean from the counter to the table? I generally wait to cut my wicks many hours later when the candle is completely hard or the next morning so I don't break the seal as the candle is getting hard. Jcandleattic
I don't use that wax, but I move my container candles as soon as the top forms a layer and doesn't slosh around when I move them to disturb the top. They can still be quite warm, but movable. I do this when I'm making a lot at a time of many different scents and need the counter space. I usually move them to the box the containers came out of so they can continue to cool down slowly.
Candybee
When the wax has hardened. Usually within an hour or two. I normally trim wicks and lid the jars the next day.
Detto
Thanks, Yes that what I meant. I was afraid to move the candles too soon because I didn't want to affect them.
