Where can I find a Narrow 20 oz. Straight sided Candle Jar?

Recommended Posts

I think the jar in your first photo is more elegant looking with the straight lines.  I'll keep an eye out for it.

I've had problems burning narrow containers in the past, but I've switched waxes since then in my wax exploration venture, lol, so maybe I'll try again.  I like the look ... kind of like a pillar candle, but a container -- just could never get them burning correctly when I tried before.

My First Original Post is the Jar that Yankee Candle

uses for what they call their "Perfect Pillar"

I am looking for that jar; for my Candles; But;

I can NOT seem; to find that specific Jar for the life of me.

Is it a possibility; That Yankee has a Glass Company make

this Jar Specifically for them?

Yes, because their 4 oz apothecary jars arent anywhere on the net either. It is very plausible they have theirs specifically made for them.

Personnaly, I like the flare out the fillmore one has. I almost used these as my candle jars, but couldnt get over the cost per jar to justify using them over a salsa type straight sided jar.

This: http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/16-oz-Straight-Sided-Jars-83-CT-P17.aspx?c=1 is only $.54/jar before shipping

vs

this: http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/20-oz-Anchor-Elite-Jar-P125.aspx?c=1 which is $1.25/jar before shipping.

Granted, the is a 4 oz size difference, but I cannot justify 1.5 times the expense per jar

Yes you did! But if you read closer, sadly that item has been discontinued by the manufacturer. All they are selling is leftover stock. :(

I had found those last year but then shortly after they announced it would be discontinued soon so I passed onto another jar.

Just found an 18 ounce! Madison. Still, in my opinion, a bit pricey for reselling, but I tend to price my candles too low anyways :/

not sure how pricing works, but you may also be able to order direct from AH:
