pdevine
Ok, here is one of the Valentine Bears that I'm doing this year. Need opinions as to bear with rose petals or without rose petals? Also, am up for suggestions as to what else I can do to dress him up some. TIA Portia
maryann
I like the rose petals (that's what I do, I also do scented potpourri and heart tarts for the burner ). I think putting the roses in one hand would look nice! Other than those suggestions I like it how it is-very nice!!
angiebaby
I love it with the rose petals. Couldn't you just put it in a clear poly bag (like for a basket) and dress up the bag with some ribbon or a bow? (Giving the disclaimer that I am not a pro at packaging)
SatinDucky
He is cute. I like the petals too. The entire look seems to be a bit color heavy on the bottom though. Maybe add a touch of color towards the head/neck?
Kaybee23
Awwwe, very cute!
pdevine
Thank you all for the kind words. I knew there was something that I didn't like about it and SatinDucky hit the nail on the head, he was lacking color up top. So, I put a little red bow at one of his ears and it made all the difference in the world. It's funny how the smallest of things can make the biggest difference. maryann
I personally wouldn't add a bow (nothing against bows, he just looks very masculine- he may become gender confused-LOL ). How about adding more white petals at the bottom to balance it if you feel its unbalanced??
jenniejr
I personally wouldn't add a bow (nothing against bows, he just looks very masculine- he may become gender confused-LOL ). :laugh2: How about adding more white petals at the bottom to balance it if you feel its unbalanced??I agree. I think a touch of white might set it off a little better. He is way too cute!
