hometowncandles
I've been ask to make some sampler size candles for gift bags, my friend wants something bourbon scented. I'm not a bourbon connoisseur, so I would have no idea how closely it resembled true bourbon. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA Jennifer
Siren12
i cant really help you since the only thing that i have used with Bourbon in the name is CS- Apple and Maple Bourbon which i think smells amazing! but its more of a baked apple smell than the straight up bourbon. sorry
kandlekrazy
I'm not sure it's the best because only one I've used. Flaming Candle Kentucky Bourbon. It sells is all I can tell you, I don't drink so can't say if it truly smells like Bourbon but I do like the smell.
hometowncandles
Thank you both! I think I'll give em both a try, I love bakery and food scents for myself :-)

chuck_35550
You might think whiskey instead. Most bourbon fragrances are paired with vanilla backgrounds and may have floral or woody notes included. Whiskey tends to be paired with leather and my be closer to what your friends want in a booze connected fragrance.
hometowncandles
It's more symbolic than for scent, but I want it to at least be close. My friend is from Louisville and wants something bourbon because of the Bourbon Trail.
maryta
I just today poured Apples Maple Bourbon in wax (or whatever its called) from CS and the cold scent is very good. It has the "booze" that chuck-35550 is talking about and I think the apple rounds it out for a wax scent. Good luck in your search!
