EnvyCandles
Has anyone tried these? They have some scents I would love to try but price wise, it is pretty high. Peak said the normal usage rate (%) would apply for these, so it is not like you could use less... Thoughts?
MLG
I personally love Peak's fragrances. I like some scents more than others, but I have never gotten a "dud" from them. Right now I am using 4786 (thanks to Puma) and I have had nothing but good luck. I don't know what kind of wax you're using but, from what I have read on here, soy does tend to throw differently than paraffin. Maybe someone else will chime in here.
cindym
Why don't you just use fo's from their regular fragrance line, they have a great selection , and I personally use mostly Peak oils for my candles.
Candybee
I wouldn't use them for candles. Although they say they can be used for candles they are formulated for safe use in higher concentrations for making perfumes and other leave on body products. There are other sites that carry designer fragrance oils for candlemaking.
maryta
...but there is Flowerbomb, Angel, and Clinique Happy!! (I've not tried these yet...but I really love Flowerbomb....I may have to get some just for myself! (for solid perfume....I just saw Candybee's post ...seems like good advice!)) ...I've splurged on some Sweetcakes expensive stuff for solid perfume, too...worth it for myself so maybe FLowerbomb is in my next order.... EnvyCandles
Thanks everyone for your responses. I currently use - and LOVE Peak- but just really fell in love with Flowerbomb and Happy! I want to make my own rollerballs for perfume I already wear... Do you guys know anyplace that sells ones similar to this? Other than SOS? wgregww
Their prices seem high to me, I can't see paying $21-$24 a lb. I do think they have great scents. Edited March 28, 2016 by wgregww
wgregww
Elements is high to, how do you pay those prices?
MarsBars
I have Flowerbomb from Peak. Love it! I wouldn't use it in candles though, not cost effective. I use in it perfumes. Love love love it!
