Clear Black
Can you use wood wicks with Gel candles? Im doing some initial research on Gel and cant seem to find an answer so I turned here. TIA
Vicky_CO
Good question. I can not think of a reason why you could not. My only concern is what the wood is treated with and is it compatible with gel wax.
Clear Black
They are advertised as Organic, Eco-friendly and Non Toxic. So Apart from contacting the manufacturer, I would safely guess they arent treated with anything that would interfere with the gel.
Vicky_CO
I would still do a quick test on one. Let a wick soak in mineral oil for a bit and see if it clouds up. Non toxic does not mean they have not been treated, there is a lot of organic treatments for wood one is cedar oil. I would just do that as a precaution.
