ThisLittleLightOfMine
So don't skin me alive if this is a no no lol but I was wondering if people might share some of their favorite scent combos that they like to use in candles or melts... An just looking for a start for some inspiration... If this is a no no I'm sorry in advance!
moonshine
The more chunk tart melts thread has some wonderful scent blend ideas I don't blend many because I can hardly keep up with testing the single note scents I have in my line let alone mixers but I have s few that I have done CS Day at the spa with CS rainwater CS Macintosh apple with BCN hayride and SC fresh grassFC nutmeg ginger with FB pumpkinFC nutmeg finger with CS Macintosh appleSC woodsmoke with PFO pops pipe An easy way to get blends and test is in melts first rather than candles - I plan to do this myself when I get all my candles in my lineup complete- maybe 2020......lol

Jcandleattic
I love this chart.. I blend all the time, I rarely use a straight scent...
ThisLittleLightOfMine
So you said scents across from each other or right beside each color right??
Jcandleattic
So you said scents across from each other or right beside each color right??Yes, it works just like a color wheel, only with scents. You can break the rules sometimes, but for the most part, when just starting out, try to blend like the chart suggests.
Candybee
Peaks has one of the best scent mixing charts I have seen. http://www.candletech.com/candle-making/tips-and-tricks/scent-mixing-ideas/
Jcandleattic
I've seen that one, and I like a lot of the blends. However, I'm like a "mad scientist" and I like making my own blends to see what I can come up with. Their chart is a good start though..
