Scale question

Recommended Posts

My scale has decided to die so after much research on here I see the popular one is this http://www.oldwillknottscales.com/my-weigh-kd7000-silver.html . Now my question is..have you ever needed to calibrate it? I noticed the weight needed to calibrate it is almost $50 which is more then the actual scale itself. I'm getting the plug in adapter for it but is the weight really needed?

I think (but not positive) the KD8000 may have more weighing options. It has a 30 yr. warranty. I'm going to put the link to both (Amazon). I hope this will help you more than my take on it :-)

Do you happen to know what the difference is between the two scales, Ravens?
