Soap coloring

Recommended Posts

I have been away and haven't made candles or soap in 2 years. But now that I am back I am eager to try CP soap again since all of my kids are now in school full days I wont be as scared. But wondering the best coloring for it? I used to use the pop colors but I am sure there is something new and wonderful. :)

I am using Mica's still always have. Natures Garden has liquid colorants now that work in CP soap that I see a lot of soapers using. Welcome Back! Missed you!!! :)

I still use mostly natural colorants, but I do use some of NG's and they work well. Also B&B has some great bright colors. I love their Bubblegum pink

I still have pop micas on hand but prefer to use the Celestials. My only gripe is that some of them start out a different color and then turn once they are saponified but the pinks are really pink and the indigo is really sweet. I love Morrocan red clay and French green clay as colorants. HTH
