jenn624
I'm thinking of adding some of the single, scalloped edge type tarts to my home fragrance line up, & wondered how do they do for you compared to clamshell tarts? (which I currently offer) Do people still like them/buy them or have you noticed more people ignoring single tarts in favor of clamshell tarts? FaithfulScenter
I did a festival this weekend, in which I offered singles at $1.50 each or 4/$5, and bags of pumpkin shaped melts, 4 oz for $5, and only 3 people took advantage of the 4/$5, everyone else seemed to just go for the bags. Not the same as clamshells, which I do make just happened to be out of for the festival, but HTH!
franu61
I sell both but the clamshells do much better. Customers instantly recognize those "scentsy" things and are drawn to them.
EccoLights
We have toyed with this as well and found that they both sell. The trend I noticed is the "YC" customers tend to go for the singles and the "Sent---, PL, WalMart" shoppers go for the clamshells. If that makes any sense
