  1. Cosmo / Carrie - I am very sorry that you feel that my post was unfair. -- My intention was not to make people think ill of your company in any kind of way. I was afraid that the site had got hacked. I still have the email that I sent you guys stating that I had thought the site had got hacked. -- You were definitely on point with resolving the issue and I was very happy with your immediate and professional customer service.  I also did call to thank you for the soap cutter. I spoke to Molly I believe was her name - you were in the middle of making soap!! --  *bubble bath* Since then I have made soaps to test, and I must say I am very, very pleased with the colorants. I am sure others will be left very satisfied using your mica's in their soap making journey!! So I hope things are clear from my end!

  2. I was wondering. I used  Soap Calc- and the EO / FO said 1 oz.  So for a 2 pound batch would this be 1 oz. per pound or 1 oz. for the 2 pound batch. I got to thinking because I made "Cool Water" and it was knock your socks off strong. Then I began to wonder because I used 2 oz. for the 2 lb. batch. -- Same with a lavender test. I used almost 2 oz. of lavender and it was very strong. -- So could someone chime in please and give me just a little direction. I sometimes over think, then I get confused.-- TIA.

  3. No, I didn't have anything in mind in particular. I want to have a bit more knowledge about fragrance oils. Some you get from some places are nice and strong, and the same fragrance oil from another place just maybe weak and wont throw. It just had me wondering - that's all.

  4. I just reordered Sweet Orange Chili Pepper from NG- I have always got a Fuel smell with this scent. I will test this time in 6006. I had called a candle company and asked this question. They suggested to cut back on the FO. which I done previously to 5%. My question is, is there another scent I could blend with it that could help to anchor it and deter the fuel smell? Thanks.

  5. I finally placed my order with NG. I decided to leave off the clean scents for now.  I currently have sitting in front of me these scents listed. I will be testing in 6006.  - I hope I have some "Knock your socks off" throwers on the list!!

Butt Naked - ( I couldn't get this to throw in soy at 6%. Hopefully this will throw in 6006 at 6%)

    Coconut Cream Pie

    Cherry Crumb Pie

    Blue Hawaiian

    Palm Island

    Absinthe

    Blueberry Muffin

    Spiced Cranberry

Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper - ( didn't work in wax before Fuelly)- will attempt to use for soap.)

    Strawberry Passion

    Fruity Rings

    7 Up Pound Cake

    China Rain

    Fresh Peach

    Bedtime Bath

  6. So.... I ordered some scents from Natures Garden a few months back and I find that I am kinda liking the throw I am getting in 6006, especially the Black Linen and Amber. I was actually impressed with the throw in my bedroom, as usually with Jelly Jars, I test in the bathroom since it is a smaller area. But this scent somewhat fills my bedroom - in just a jelly jar. So - does anyone have any suggestions for NG's Fresh Air / Clean Scents that you find to be pretty strong?  I will be placing an order soon; I got that strange little feeling in the bottom of my stomach, and I am trying my best not to go nuts ordering everything on the Menu!!!! TIA

  7. Hello All,

I am just a little frustrated right now. I made a 6006 candle and I made one with straight 464. I used 6% of Candle science's Honey Dew. -- Well after a good 2 week cure, the Cold Throw is there, but Hot Throw is non existent in both candles. I added the FO to the wax at around 180.  Wicking was pretty good as on the 3 - 4 burn - I got a 1/4 inch MP. So - my question is - Do you find that melon scents need more scent in order for them to work? In this instance, the process is to drop the honey dew melon and move on to the next scent. It is pretty strong in the bottle -- So are there scent types that you find works better that others using 6006?

  8. Finally!!!

I actually had to reorder my order. I did talk to customer service and they told me that I the original order would come back to them, and once it came back, they would refund me the order amount.. - They told me to reorder and they would send it out right away, in which they did. -- So I am glad about that. It still boggles my mind - as Ubekistan is not that close to the United States on the Drop Down.- Its a few places down. --- So.. I am ok now. What a scare!!

  9. All,

First I would like to say thanks for all the help and support you all that have - has kindly offered. I just wanted to say, I was waiting for my order from Nurture Soaps and somehow, its showing on their end that my address is in Uzbekistan and not in the US. Lord only knows where that place is. This Uzbekisan place is showing on the invoice that was sent to my email. When I went and checked my actual information  - it was correct as I entered it. --My order was tracked to Jamaica New York where it next had to go through 'customs"?  Well, I am sad as I was waiting for colorants for some soap experiments. I did email them and am now waiting for a response. -- I wanted to share the experience, and just alert you to be careful.

  10. I was checking out the Micas at AH / RE. If anyone uses them, I was wondering if they are stable in CP. I did notice they are blended with oxides and such. I am interested in the Oh La La, as I would like to attempt to make a BRV Scented soap - using that color as a part of the design. -- If these colors are stable, I just may use AH RE to get all my colorants. I have been waiting for colorants from another company since the 9th of june and now it is the 16. I hope to get all my colorants from where I can at least get my order in 2 - 3 days and not close to 2 weeks. I just need to know what supplier I can get them from on the east coast. Thx.
