    TP Fresheners

Blessings to all. Would anyone have any info that can direct me to a tutorial on how to make toilet paper air fresheners. I searched a little but I have not run across an actual tutorial as of yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. OK - so are these bags the clear ones? I saw some on gt bags for 2 ml and 4 Ml. Does the ml number matter? I am going to take a look also again on unlined.
  5. Thanks. I don't want to buy a whole mound and be out of luck. Thanks.
  6. Good Evening, Just a question about the Polypro bags from Uline for Single Fluted Melts. I was looking on Uline and was thinking to get the flat Polypro bags. I see the 3oz bags has a 4x4 dimension. Would this be the best size? The melts are only about 1 oz. Also, do you that may use these type bags for the single melts, do you seal the bag with a sealer of some type? Also, if you sell smaller single melt pieces (15 - 20 or so in a bag) what type of bag and size do you use for it? Thanks
  7. OK. Do anyone use flexible molds? So the MP still need to be around 130 when using the yellow flexible molds?
  8. I am a little confused. So for tarts, what should the MP be. I am blending waxes. I have 4625, 4630, 4794, and PB. So I ask because I. Blended 4625 and 4630. It popped from the portion cup fine, but stuck to the warmer. I had to freeze it to it out. So my question is should I worry about it? Or should I increase the MP. I remember testing palm wax in the past and this did release from the warmer without sticking. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
  9. Thanks. I will do some searchres. @ Lorelei- I am using 8 oz jelly jars.
  10. I do have some eco 10's. Did you stick with just 6% with that FO?
  11. Hello. I hope someone can chime in here. I am testing Candlesciences Honeysuckle Jasmine in Jelly Jars. I used just 1 oz of FO for 16 oz of wax. Added fo at 185, poured around 100. Cured for 3 -4 weeks. CD 12 wick. Cold Throw Pretty strong. Hot throw not doing well at all.For those who use this FO with 415, do you use a bit more FO, do you use a different wick type or do you add this FO at a lower temp? I tried a few FO's in 415, but I think I will float back to 464. I have have some scents throw with it with a shorter cure time.
  12. Never mind to if the CDN's burning a bit cooler. I think I have that answer now. I just have to do some tweeking thats all.
  13. The candles cold throw is wonderful. This is the next day actually. I fell asleep last night after I put them out and never put the lids on and the cold throw is kicking butt. But does the CDN burn a bit cooler? I am going to try a CD 6 or 8. The flame height is said to be the same, but the roc is 2 numbers apart. But I think I will look into the CDN wicks.
  14. I was wondering. I am burning butt naked from NG in a 9 oz hex ]ar. This has cured for 3 weeks. The cold throw is strong and satisfying when I remove the lid. But its been burning for almost 2 hours and the hot throw is very light and dont quite smell like the cold throw. The wicks are CD 10 and the other jar is CD 12. Looking at both, I see they both have mushrooms and the MP is showing through the sides of the jar some what on both jars, with a bit more showing on the CD 12. Sounds like a CD 8 for this jar, but the CD 10 flame isnt all that big. I only used 1oz FO pp of the 415 and 1 TBSP of USA. Is the Cd the best wick for this FO? What are your opinions?
  15. Sorry to you all, but I got not one chance to do nothing today. But I did notice that if I keep stirring the 415, it does seem to thicken pretty quick...hmmmm.
  16. If any could chime in here. Ok- on last night, I put 1 pound of 415 in the presto w/ 1 TBSP of USA. I heated it to 185. I cut it off and let it sit until this morning. When I looked at the wax, it was just perfect. It was smooth and creamy. So WOW..... hot 415 wax -unmoved - makes a perfect candle --- in a presto. Now, today when I get home, I am going to reheat it and add the FO- (undecided if I will dye it). My question is - I am pouring into one Jelly Jar, and I will pour the rest into an 8 oz Apothecary jar. I have read to pour around 100ish - cool and slushy. So because of the difference in the jar sizes, the presto pot example has got me thinking, should I pour both jars at the same temperature? My mind says no. I had previously poured CS- Honeysuckle and Jasmine into Jelly Jars at 117 and the tops looked dry rotted. ( Then again, when I poured the wax, it the was of a syrupy consistancy - not slushy) I fixed them with the heat gun. But anyway, what approach should I take on these jars?
  17. I thought this would be interesting. I am burning a yankee. This looks to be some type of veggie wax. It has been burning 4 hours almost. I wasnt really paying it too much attention, but I just looked at it and there is a hole down in the wax. The flame of course is no longer still and quiet and is producing little rings of smoke. The jar is the taller straight sided madison type one. I just thought I'd share.
  18. Right. But do you find that for instance floral scents throw better in this wax than bakery or other scents or do they all throw pretty much the same as long as it is wicked correctly?
  19. I do believe it is some type of veggie blend. The straight sided jar types has the one type of wax. The apothecary jars has the paraffin type of wax.
  20. I currently am testing 4630 straight and blended.Does anyone notice that this wax throws a certain scent type better than others? For example does floral scents throw better then fruity scents? Or is it noticed that other wax types take to other scent types better?
  21. I recently purchased a Yankee Candle. I noticed the wax didnt look like their paraffin candles. It looked soy or veggie based. Anyone have any idea what wax / wick type they are using??
  22. Thanks. I will test this again soon bringing your suggestiona into play. At least I know that scent and wick works for that jar. Do you add any vybar to your lighter scents? I am testing NG monkey farts in the jar. One blend is 4630/464- 80/20 with a HTP 83 in that Jar. The wick burned lopsided, but next time I will give it a few twists. But it burned down, and the throw wasnt too good. Some time ago I tested this scent using straight 464 and 1tsp of crisco. It cured about a week. The scent was light at first. But as it burned down, the throw was out of this world. Now I have some vybar 260. If I added a few beads, would it affect the wicking using 4630 straight?
  23. Greetings, I am testing 4630 in a 12 oz status with a 60 zinc wick- 1 oz Birds of Paradise from Peaks. Throw is wonderful hot and cold and throws even when its not lit. When testing the second half of the jar on a 4 hour burn, I occasionally saw a ring of smoke. The jar was comfortable to the touch. Should I cut back on ths FO amount to resolve this? The 51 z was too small for this container. The flame wasnt that high with the 60z. So II am not sure. My mind says cut back on the FO since it is a strong thrower. Any suggestions?
