  1. I have tried Rain also, and cannot get it to blend in my soy blend, at all. Crazy stuff. I like the scent, but it sure doesn't go well with my wax. I have tried many of the CO scents. Aqua Floral, I really like this one. Soft and fresh. Lemon Bundt Cake, one of my favorites, and I have several customers that really like it too. Not sure what I will do when it is gone. Violet and Birch. I love this one, and I don't like flowers. Unusual. Strawberries and Margarita, I renamed this one Strawberries and Cream. I have had this one for years. Harvest Moon, didn't have much luck with this one either. I was hoping people would like it as much as Harvest, which I sell a ton of. No luck. Aqua Di Gio, have sold quite a bit of this also. Banana Cream Pie, still trying to get rid of this one. Smells just like what it says, but people have not seemed to like it. Black Forrest Truffle, didn't sell much of this either. Very chocolatey, but not a good seller. Daffodils, pretty scent, but didn't sell that well either. Floral Fantasy, have carried this for a quite a while, pretty popular. Fresh Outdoors, this one is so strong. If I really, really dilute it down, it sells better. Just so strong, it takes over everything. Greenhouse, I like this one. Smells fresh to me, haven't used it much yet. Heavenly Honeydew, not been a big seller. Have carried it for a long time. Smells a lot like honeydew to me, though. Lemon Bundt Cake, as I mentioned, one of my favorites. Lime Kiwi, hasn't done so well. Very strong lime, but reminds me of Lysol. Mahogany Spice, strong one. I really like it, it does okay. Spicy Vanilla, good one too. Nice scent, it does okay in melts. Vanilla Nut, also very strong. Very nutty. Has also done okay. Violet and Birch, one I also like very well. I see I am too late for the special, but thought i would finish this up anyway. I really have had good luck with their closeouts.
  2. I have used it, but still not sure about it. I have made it into ornaments, melts.
  3. Mountain Lake from BCN is a good soapy men's scent. It is super strong, so doesn't take much.
  4. BCN has Lemon Bundt Cake in the closeout fragrance section. It is an amazing scent. One of my better sellers.
  5. There is a limit to report. I have also thought a warmer was all right, but after pulling out of box found some problems. I take pictures of the outside boxes, (to show whether or not they were mis handled), the box inside, and the warmer.
  6. I have had aroma beads last for months. The stronger the scent, the longer it lasts. I find they are much stronger during the heat, such as a hot car. I usually put on the label that they last for weeks, to be on the safe side. But have had customers tell me they have lasted 6 months or better.
  7. Shipping is usually reasonable, but caution on the defective warmers, if that is what you are ordering. Out of 18, 3 were either broken or defective. It is a hassle for me to get them replaced. We live in a very small town where there isn't a Fed Ex, and UPS has to be caught driving by. I have never received an order that was as it should be, and I think the packaging is awful. I would never send orders out so pourly packed. It surprises me that any of them make it. The prices are good, but not sure it is worth it.
  8. I have made guest soaps for a Bed and Breakfast for several years. They request glycerin, I tried to talk them in to our cold process, but they like the others better. It is a pain to make them, I hand wrap each one. They also carry a few of my other products to sell to guests. But I have picked up a large volume contract from that. I insist on my info on the each bar, in small lettering, but there. I thought I had a large hotel, who wanted to offer local products, but in the end they went with a brand from their spa.
  9. Still no repsonse. I ordered from another company, but it looks like I am going to miss sales from waiting too long on them. I just kept thinking they were behind, and the order would show up. I had ordered in plenty of time from when I needed the bottles. Bummer Yes, I agree, there is no excuse, and especially a supply company that people depend on. We ran in to this with another one a couple of years ago. At least once I read about it on here, I knew my order wasn't coming and ordered elsewhere. They didn't charge my card, I did check that right away when I figured out I wasn't getting the order any time soon. There was some things I was excited about trying, thats too bad.
  10. Update on this company, so that others do not order from them. Still no response of any kind, and when I tried to leave a message on their phone today it was doing odd things. So I am thinking it might be disconnected.
  11. Really strange, for a supply business. I have used them off and on for several years, and don't ever remember any problems. If they would at least respond, so that I know what to do. I could stand to lose a lot of business, if they don't go with someone else. But I hate to have two orders out there at the same time, if they do decide to conduct business. Still haven't heard anything, it has been several days. I have left a couple of phone messages, a couple of emails, over a few days. Thanks for the help.
  12. Yes, I have called during business hours, plus email. And no answer. I find nothing on their site saying they are closed. Just wondered if anyone knew anything. Not a very good way to do business:( Puts me in a bind.
  13. Does anyone use them? I placed an order the 27th of April, haven't received it and can't seem to get hold of anyone. I am really needing the items on the order, and will have to try to order elsewhere. I wondered if anyone knew if anything had happened to them.
  14. I have ordered from them for several years. Shipping is the biggest problem with them. Not sure why it is so high. I order from a lot of suppliers, and they are the only ones I struggle with the high shipping. It can not be set up according to weight, it jumps too much. One item can make it jump. I have canceled a ton of product, because of it. They need to get something figured out, it must hurt their business. Other than that, I have had no problems that they couldn't take care of. Their surplus items can't be beat price wise.
  15. I have had a store front for a few years now, in a very small town. It is a challenge. I can't afford to hire anyone, I don't have enough business. I have a daughter that has been part of my business since it started, plus a husband that does help when he can. I retired from my 'paying job' a few years back, he also retired to help but had to go back to work because my health insurance jumped up about 10 times in the last three years. (So much for our insurance system). I also opened another shop in another town, where there are several shops in one building. We take turns running the store that has a central check out. Great concept, I also pay some rent, but it isn't much compared to what it could be. I have considered doing the same in my own town, on a smaller scale. It is difficult being open full time, when I am the only one doing it. I have tried in years past, but now only am open three days a week, because I work at the other store on Wednesdays. I aslo have a workshop in a room behind the store front, to make product, in my own store. We also own the building, so don't pay rent. But insurance, and utilities can be a killer when business is so slow. I post my phone number, and I try to accomodate people. I know that I have lost customers being closed too much, but at this time, it is the best I can do. I also have a web site, so people can get the product but want it easier. It is a struggle, so much depends on location, and I know that, but I opted for my own town, because I commuted for years, and would not do that again. I love to drive four blocks and I am at work. I also loved working with my family, I wish the economy had held out and I could continue. Running a business alone to me is lonely and can be exhausting. It is hard to keep up enthusiasm when I have to figure it all out alone. And since I make my products, that is a whole other issue. I do have the luxury of my daughter able to help, and I know she will do a good job. But she is getting ready to take her nursing boards, so hopefully will be busy making good money soon. Something is to be said for loving what you do. And I do love having my own business, creating new products, seeing things take off.
  16. I probably wouldn't sue either, because of the expense here in the states, and the lawyers make the money if we win. But I sure have wished I could, many times. Because of the principal. I have been ripped off many times also, in my business. The majority are honest, a few bad eggs ruins it for everyone. Bummer. I work hard for my money, as I think we all do. (Oh yea, except for the people that are entitled to my money:) Profits are so slim these days, hard to believe that anyone would want to take what little there is. I think as a society, we have all gotten used to being ripped off, and tend to take it too much. Maybe if we all said enough is enough, dead beats would have pay up. Good luck.
  17. OBI sells the floral combo warmers also. (Opportunity Buys)
  18. I have had great luck with their oils. Very, very strong. Expensive, but I don't have to use as much.
  19. Thanks, Oversoyed. Have you tried any of these? It is hard to see the quality. I am guessing you go by weight per oz.
  20. Not sure where to put this, but does anyone have a good wholesale bathrobe company? I have been searching the web, but not getting anywhere. I would like to add bathrobes to my store, but would like nice ones that don't cost me $100. Thanks
  21. I did try it and it didn't work for me. I have another base that I use for that, so didn't try too hard. I would be curious if anyone has made it work. I am not sure why it didn't. But it is an awesome body wash. So is there shampoo and conditioner.
  22. I did the scalloped originally and switched to the portion cups. The portion cups are incredibly faster to make. And the tarts in bags seem to get marked up. They don't stay looking good.
  23. My favorite supplier, by far. When I first heard about them I was needing to melt down larger quantities of shea butter. I called and got Mike on the phone. He talked to me a long time, giving me some very valuable tips. Besides incredible customer service, great prices. We have been ordering a couple of years now, and couldn't be happier. Very, very quick turn around, and very reasonable. High quality, can't be beat, I don't even intend to try. We decided first order to pick it up instead of paying shipping. First and last time. It is downtown Chicago, . We are in Iowa, and the shipping is very reasonable.
  24. I use BCN's sanitizer also. Does anyone making a foam out of it, or spray? I see where they sell sanitizer at the store this way, I thought it would be nice to be able to.
