I have used that guideline from Snowdrift and it works but is very stinky. But is a nice soap. I have also just made my paste as usual and diluted with liquid Goat's milk too.

Dilution also depends on the types of oils you use for the paste. As least that's what I have found. Some oils don't require as much water to dilute while others take more. It's trial and error. Take REALLY GOOD NOTES so you can repeat your process the next time.

I know SLS makes the bubbles but I wonder what other purpose it serves. I mean if you just made a shampoo bar wouldn't that almost be the same thing. I guess I am just trying to figure out why it's in there. I may just have to try it myself I guess...LOL

Don't know about the eggs but it's possible it's a rebatched shampoo base like you said with SLS added.

Also just read that it will prolong and enhance the shelf life of your finished product. I guess I am answering my own questions here...LOL

Thanks. I did some more searching and read that it will act as a 'medium' which will allow your product to hold fragrances longer..

Anyone ever seen these before? Basin Shampoo Bars They look interesting. I can't tell if they are CP/HP or just M&P but according to the ingredients I don't think they could be M&P.

Any one know what purpose this serves? My sister went to this B&B store and brought me an information sheet on what goes into each of their bath bombs and dextrose is listed in quite a few of them but not all of them. Just curious if any one knows what it does or more importantly why is it in there?

They don't offer a debit card like paypal but there are no processing fees until 12/31/07. You can use both on your site. I offer both but have only had one person use it so far. You have to set up a google account during checkout in order to process the order. The one order I did have google didn't correctly add the total right which I thought was pretty funny myself. It was only off a few scents. They do however have the option of creating coupons for the customer.

I am not a big "buyer" of GL either but do get my wax from there and that doesn't sound like them at all. I am sure it was just a fluke or something.

Great job. I like both the clear and the cloudy. As long as it feels great on the skin I don't think it matters. LS is so much fun to make
