  1. Thank you both. I shipped first class and it came to $2.86. I asked the postman if I could do it all online and he had no clue. Dragging a toddler the the post office is never a good thing, LOL.
  2. I didn't think you could ship Priority or First class to Canada? I thought it had to be international parcel post?
  3. I don't usually ship to anywhere outside the US, but had a friend in Canada order. Can I print out her label online with PayPal, or do I have to *cringe* actually go into the post office because of customs forms. Does anyone know? I would greatly appreciate it!
  4. And that my friends is why I love this site Thank you for your opinions on the mosaic warmers, and for the email they sent. I figured I'd get a couple to test out (they look so pretty!), but I do re-ship, and if they're going to break or chip, it's not worth it. I ordered a ton of Jackel's "Scene" warmers (the big ones with elaborate scenes and a removable bowl), and they were a nightmare. They broke, they were to hot...and I very stupidly ordered a ton (because they looked nice). Lesson learned, do your research, get opinions. Anywho, thank you guys. I guess I'll stick with the plain jane warmers.
  5. If it is a customer that is purchasing for the first time, I always send a follow up message to thank them and make sure everything arrived okay. In my opinion, I wouldn't do a survey. If they email you back, then maybe you can ask them if they'd mind participating (maybe even offer a 10% off code for participating...but if that's the case, make more than 3 questions, LOL). Just my $.02, I'm definitely not the expert here, but that's my personal opinion.
  6. I haven't tried the mosaic, but I have a few on my list to try out. They look pretty, guess we'll see (if they get them in stock again!).
  7. Ah, the free shipping. That explains it a bit (although even before that, they were out of a ton of what I needed). Haven't tried the crocks. Love the plug in night light warmers though. Hope they re-stock soon. I too was hoping for some red...but *sigh* they're out. Crummy.
  8. They're out of stock on like everything! I'm needing to re-stock after the holidays and they are out of absolutely EVERYTHING I need. Grrrr.... I hope this isn't a routine thing for them. Anybody have any idea when they'll be back in stock? I did email them, but so far nothing.... Very frustrating.
  9. *OOPS...sorry I posted twice* Hi! I've made this for my son and it's very fun! You can add bath confetti too. I'm not sure how moisturizing it is, although I know cornstarch and baking soda are good for your skin. It's very easy, my only complaint is that you can't package it in a container (other than a plastic bag) just in case it gets wet and expands...the container would explode! I got the recipe from thesage.com: Magic Color Bath Fizzies: Ingredients 2 cups cornstarch 1 cup Citric Acid 1-3/4 cup baking soda up to 1 tsp Fragrance Oil .15 cc scoop of Grape Color Equipment Zipper style bag in gallon size Measuring cups and Color Scoops Decorative bags for giving RibbonInstructions Mix all items thoroughly. Package in decorative bags only. Label. Use up to 1/4 per full bath. Comments This recipe is very easy to make, even your children will have a great time! This is one of the few recipes we offer that does not use a scale. We think it is easiest to mix these ingredients by kneading the mixture inside a zipper style bag. Rub and squish any lumps in the bag to make a free flowing powder. To get a fizzing reaction the Citric Acid must be combined with baking soda. Fragrance oils vary in their strengths so we have a maximum amount to add. Please take into consideration that Almond scents are far more potent that Papaya scents, and so on. The dry mixture will be white and the blue color will appear once the dry mixture is added to the bath water. You may use Lemon Yellow Color, Ocean Blue Color, or Purple Raspberry Color in place of the Grape Color . We recommend this mixture be packaged in bags only since the addition of water will start the fizzing reaction. This fizzing action will cause a rigid container to expand, then explode. Please be safe. Yield Makes about 4-3/4 cups of fizzing bath salts. HTH! D

  11. Thank you guys I did see the one at kitchengifts.com and that's the one that was so expensive! I may just have to bite the bullet and buy the whole body. Sheesh. Please let me know if anyone finds just the head! Thanks D
  12. Thank you I know, I'm used to paying $.70 for a cookie cutter. I love the husky, but just want the husky head, not the whole body! I appreciate the help! D
  13. Hello! Our local high school mascot is the Huskies and I'd like to make some air fresheners in the Husky Head shape. I'm searching for a Husky (head only) cookie cutter and have had no luck (well I found one for $14.95! EEK!). Does anyone know where I might be able to find this? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much! D
  14. Hi guys I like to send free samples with my orders. Customers like to get them and it's a great way for them to try out some scents/products they might not ordinarily order. I also like to offer special offers to customers (like free tarts). How do you guys track your freebies? I use QB Premier, but don't really use the inventory feature. Just curious as to how you guys do it Thanks! D
  15. Probably a stupid question...but, you don't charge sales tax on a gift certificate, right? They haven't actually purchased anything. Thought I'd get the consensus Thanks! D
  16. Target had silicone type snowflake molds in their cheapy section (they were two molds for $2.50). There are 6 cavities per mold. HTH D
  17. Tony's has it It's a nice FO, I've used it in Bath Melts, but never in wax. HTH! D
  18. Excellent! I'm so happy for you! Your goodies look wonderful! Hope you're doing well, I haven't been around to much (that's what happens when you start your own business, LOL). Congrats! And whooo hoo...you figured out the digital camera, LOL. D
  19. Those look nice, but I'm wondering if they'd be a pain in the patootie to align (I've had so many issues with the round labels not lining up). Hmmm....curious to see if anyone has any luck with these.
  20. Thank you guys! I've already planned on doing scented bear keychains, but I like the idea of roll on glitter. We can only charge $2 max for our items, so we need to keep it cheap (guess I should have said that!). Now I just need to hunt down a recipe for the roll on glitter gel Thank you!
  21. Hi all I'm trying to find a good B&B idea for my daughter's Girl Scout troop's Holiday Bazaar. Last year we did Lava Lip Gloss. They were a HUGE hit and we sold out. I want to do something different this year. The girls are 9 and 10. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it Thanks! D
  22. Thank you again! That's why I love this site So many wonderful people willing to lend a hand! I appreciate it!
  23. Yup, that's it Their regular warmers work fine and are very pretty. Just steer clear of the Santa ones, LOL.
