  1. Awesome find, bottom shelf shopping always uncovers buried treasures...congrats!
  2. I am with you crazzie, people that work in any industry should have a grasp on their job at hand. If you are working to serve the public, you should have at the minimum common knowledge about the products you are working with. Can you imagine going to a restaurant and asking about the dinner menu and the server has no idea about any of the food. Would you still want to eat there?
  3. Hey PAgirl89, was just wondering how your TP went at your craftshow on Sat. ? Did the TP go over well ?
  4. Thank you lmc for the kind words....it is huge amounts of time that go into some projects, but to see the admiration on the buyers face as to the purchase they just made seems to melt the hours and hard work put into the piece...
  5. Thanks Ravens, it is not easy to get into, one false move, one wandering sneeze and "poof" 20+ hours of work just became designer firewood....ouch! it only happended once....Yoda from Star Wars lost his nose, and I lost 16 hours of work....so be it. But all in all I enjoy it when cus. come in and see the work in person and to hear the ooo's and awww's is worth it!
  6. thank you kimmeroo. I wonder if you can use any type of wax for the TP, I would guess you could....
  7. That sounds awesome, its another thing I was looking for, was to be able to make 10-12 at once and not have to wait for the cool down process so that I can add more product to my device. Ahhh well back to the old drawing board I guess
  8. This was along the lines I was thinking Scented... have one device that I can use over and over, with different angles all in one machine.....easier to remove wax from wood or the like than diggin it out of rice or beans....
  9. That is exactly my point Stella , since I have so much wood on hand I can make something from home...unless, I can buy it for cheaper than it would be for me to fabricate one...
  10. For the angles, to make Layered Candles, some use rice, beans, sand...and some have made a tilter to hold your moulds...I have found a couple on here one by Scent Cellar and another by Soja who took the first design and made some different details to it. I was wondering if there is anything new on the market to use, or would it be beneficial to create one?
