  1. How in the world do they stay in business?
  2. The Candlemaker Store is not the same company at Midwest (aka:Brighter Scents, Gelluminations, Creative Illuminations) Although I dont use much in the way of fragrances from the CMS(mainly due to the fact there are no scent descriptions and they are hit and miss for me ..the hits have been great though) I have never had a problem with them and still order certain things such as UV inhibitor and other raw products. I just didnt want the two to get mixed up.
  3. I have used Candlemaker's Store and they are ok..The A grade is a bit stronger but the b grade is so worth the price and work great in my candles. STAY away from Midwest Candle Supply they are very shady. Look them up on the boards. They tried to rip me off..but paypal came to the rescue.
  4. Aztec Candle Supply sells really good beads. I have used them for over a year with no problems.
  5. Lol..I have filled the order out three times and went to pay and deleted. I have so many fragrances I am out of room. I just need to hold out a few more hrs ..then the sale is over!
  6. Try www.saveonscents.com I think they have something like that.
  7. Welcome to the wonderful world of soy.:smiley2:
  8. Here are the scents that I like from them... Monkey Farts Butt Naked Pepperberry Mistletoe---Men go crazy for this in my area...I call it Pine Forest Midnight Pomegranate Blueberry Clobbler Wild Cherry oh and Hawiian Tropics Creme Brulee All are very strong. My husband loves Monkey Farts but only from Aztec...I bought some from NG once and he hated it. I didnt even tell him it was a different supplier but he noticed it was just not right.
  9. I made a kit using the same concept. I filled my tins with scented aroma beads. I wish i would have found thier kits earlier i would have used that instead.
  10. Amazon closed my account down due to fraudulent activity on my card #. They caught it themselves but it has made me not order from there again. This happened at the begining of Feb. The last time I used them to buy anything was in Dec.
  11. I with you on that statement....lol...oh how true it is.
  12. Sure ... www.candlesect.com. I got the basic plan (4 novice) for 12.99. Its only 9.99 a month if you pay for a year. I have not done that yet because I was very unsure when I started. So far it has worked out ok and I have learned alot in this last month. Also I wanted to add there was no set up fee. I paid for the hosting and domain and that was it. It cost under 30 bucks.
  13. Just 1 month ago I knew nothing about website or how to build one. Many of my customers wanted one because they only spend spring and summers here, so I took the plunge. I chose www.pappashop.com. Their site was sooo easy and in less than a week I had it all put together. The price was nice as well.
  14. I have made some lotion with Aztecs...It worked fine.
  15. I test mine at work(cant say exactly where I work) but where we get many unpleasant and stinky people. The candle stays up front and its a rather large area. I judge how far the aroma carries down a long hallway(200 yrds or longer). So I dont think your wrong. I live in a somewhat small house and if the candle does not throw throughout the entire house I dont use that fo at all.
  16. Bittercreek North has Black Raspberry Vanilla @ $15 per pound and I smells really good to me oob. I will be testing it tomorrow in my candles and melts. My soaper friend took a sample with her to make some CP soap but she will not have time to make it till sometime next week. I will let you know.
  17. Butt Naked(NG) and Monkey Farts(Aztec) sold like crazy for me at Christmas. Reindeer Poo(NG) was a runner up. I think it's all in the name sometimes.
  18. I am using 8oz square mason jars and 26oz terrace jars. The wick tabs are from bittercreek. The tabs sold with the wood wicks. http://cart.candlesupply.com/product.php?productid=20803&cat=609&page=1
  19. Thanks ..that solved my question. Yep I need to use search more often.
  20. During my testing of wood wicked candles, I have run into a slight problem that has only happened twice during all of my testing. I use high melt temp hot glue to hold down my wicks. During testing 2 out of 50 candles that I let burn completely to the bottom until they stopped, caused the glue to release and the wick to slide to the edge of the jar. This worries me even though it has only happened twice. Is there something that will withstand the temperature to keep the wick in place. I has read some use silicone or wick stickers..any thoughts?
  21. Yep I think I will just do that..what a terrible company.
