  1. Ok..now I remember reading about those two waxes you mentioned being the same...sheesh I have read so much it all runs together. I can get them at the local supplier. This really makes my day or night shall I say. Ugh 12hr swing shifts are going to kill me.
  2. Ohh! Another wood wicker . Does it soot any? How much soy did you add to it? I have some 464 and 415(I think) at the house I could add.
  3. I can! I will purchase some samples of that along with some others on Tues. when I make my wax and jar run...Thanks so much! I only have one single supplier for wood wicks and that is bad enough. I have not found anyone that sells the same kind of wood wicks BNC sells..they are great. I just didnt want to run into wax issues as well. I got my first large candle order last week(100). I am excited about that but it really opened my eyes up to looking for other alternatives when it comees to the wax. Again thanks so much for some input.
  4. I wonder how that will work with wood wicks. I will have to sample that.
  5. Anyone have any suggestions? I am leaning toward the 4627 or 4630. I just hope they work ok with the wood wicks...ah well test test test
  6. How did you get them to swirl. I have not been able to get that right. I really think they look good and the mug is my favorite as well.
  7. I ordered around the same time as you and that happened to me as well..Wrong on everything...however yes they fixed it quickly. Funny thing is the next order I had come in from another supplier had the same problem...I had one unlucky week there..lol.
  8. My current supplier(that I pick up from) is out of the igi6006 wax. Since switching from soy this is the only wax I have ever used with my wood wicks. I would like to test other waxes so I have a back up when this happens. Right now my candles have an awsome ct and ht and burn completely all the way to the bottom. I use 8oz square mason w/ #3 doubled wood wick from BCN. The waxes I am looking at include... 4630, 4627, j223, j50. If I could get some suggestion that would be great and thanks in advance for any help!
  9. I have ordered the special pumpkin pie $9.00/16oz and coconut lime verbena, vanilla grapefruit, woodsmoke, lavender, pink sugar, cedarwood, eucalyptus, spearmint so far....I have loved them all. I used the B grade. Like others have said ..the descriptions are the only complaint I have ...but they really reply back very fast if you cantact them with questions.
  10. I wish I would have read about Mulberry reviews before purchasing it from Candlewic. Learned my lesson.
  11. I purchased Mulberry and I can't get any CT or HT from it....oob it seemed strong enough. I even tried it as a tart...and again no scent throw....weird. It was on their list of extreme scents too. I use 6006 with wood wicks and have not had a problem with any scents ordered from other suppliers or them until now. I'm afraid of trying any of their other scents. I guess I should have just stuck with candlescience for the Mulberry ..according to other posts I read. Just had to learn the hard way.
  12. Have you ever fixed the problem once the candles are made? Can I repour to fix it?
  13. I have read all the old posts so I know it has been a problem in the past with specks on red candles when using chips. My question is ... Can I fix it? I dont want to trash the candles already made. It is so frusterating because I even melted the chips before wax was added just as a precaution. I guess like many others I will have to switch to liquid dyes.
  14. To me Very Vanilla from CS has a weird chemical smell to it. I to am searching for a good vanilla. I will have to check out the others mentioned!
