  1. I looked for Aqua Di Gio dupe on Nature's Garden's website and can't find it. Can you tell me which category it is in? Thanks a bunch.

    Marty

    Hi, Marty.

It's listed as NG Acqua Di Gio Type under designer fragrances...look under NG alphabetically. Here's a link:

Hope this helps. I try to always keep at least an extra pound of this in stock due to high number of calls for this; just got off the phone and sold a ton of it to my nephew and his friends for their college apartment. This scent is my top seller for males age 16-40, and I can't believe how many women buy this just for themselves. Good luck, and hope this helped.

  2. I think I've got a little over a week, I joined August 1st.

Maybe hang tight for a week and see if you can get members to sell you a couple oz of the various types. :) The classifieds here will be your new addiction. Members here are very gracious...I bet you will find many ways to try new products without purchasing a full size product. I might get lynched for posting this, but my goal today was to help a stranger. Hope I did!

  3. Wow...just looked at this thread. Just wanted to clarify that I wasn't really responding to the foreign lettering post...

Faith...how long until you have full access to the boards?

  4. Wowee those are some nice looking soaps!! They look like CP (ie too nice to be MP lol). I hope you don't mind me asking, but where did you get the Black Code from? I'm looking for some good designer FO dupes. Also, where can I find the activated charcoal?

Thanks! Both the FO and the charcoal are from Nature's Garden. I recommend their Acqua Di Gio dupe...I sell oodles of it in soap, candles, room sprays, sachets, etc.

  5. Ok, good, because I picked through those damn things one by one and pulled the very few that had crappy quality. I haven't had time to pour them yet and was sweating like crazy!

It's not your fault. So far In the last two days I've only had one do that. So no worries. Hehe ;-)
  6. You're scaring me!

No, I don't think it was e-clamshell. I got these in the recent coop. That's only one so far and the coop I poured two that had a leak. No biggie. Just wanted to see if I am alone in this. :-)
  7. We are nearly finished on the co-op on the Impact clamshells. I counted out each and every clamshell I shipped to ensure quality; I was impressed to have less than a dozen that were slightly imperfect in the entire batch...and by imperfect I mean they had a little kink mark in the top closure part that causes no mechanical failure, but...well...it wasn't pristine. So those are on my desk waiting for fall test scents to ship to my crew.

  8. Does your state offer a business course? Economically hard-hit MI where I live has one; it's free. Check your PA.Gov website. Hopefully they have some programs that will give you free instruction on marketing and advertising. Don't fear; there are many people doing business who have no basic marketing skills, so just play it by ear. Message me if you can't find anything online from your state; my niece is in State College and is graduating soon, so she is a good resource for courses on selling yourself/business. Good luck!

  9. Do you all remember Gollum in Lord of the Rings always going on about his "preeeeeeeeecious"? I have that visual about people around here and their FOs. :P

I've never seen the LOR movies, but I will admit that I live with and truly love a "Sheldon Cooper". His comic books are my FO's....ooh, and now the baby pictures of my granddaughter...he told me tonight it's a bit overkill and I gave him the death ray stare, so we're all good and I will continue my FO and baby picture obsession. It's a glorious fun relationship!

  10. Ok, maybe I'm an a$$hole for asking, but since few believe we can get a true olive oil, are any of our recipes accurate? I only do m&p, but from what I've read, it makes a difference? I've personally purchased several brands for home use in cooking, and have applied the same rule of thumb we do with wine...if you wouldn't eat it, would you soap with it?

  11. What does red lipstick smell like???

Direct from supplier: A sassy scent that lives up to its name! Notes of dark sweet cherry, violet, sweet coumarin, pink raspberry, light brown sugar, cotton candy, sensual musk, and a hint of French crème and tonka bean. This fragrance oil is sweet, sassy and fun!

  12. Also curious as to the vanilla. Was it a pure extract? Did you use any colorant? I'm always leery of adding too many things to clear base for fear of clouding/discoloration, unless it is desired. I do use vanilla bean seeds in opaque bases, but haven't tried it yet in clear.

Welcome to the junkie/addict club. Tonight was too damn warm to be creative, but I still had to get all my supplies out and play a little!

  13. Well, the heat and humidity have stunted my ambition and my creativity, but I needed some product for sales this upcoming week, so here are a few I knocked out tonight. Nothing fancy, but thought I'd share in any case...
