First & Main Bears; Scraggles type in 6 and 7.5 inch
-
Heya Bliss, those are adorable... And I'm right behind you..I'm waiting on my bears to arrive right now for my first time dipping lol.... I did a little checking around and Millscreek has 14x24" cello bags listed for their 7.5 bears and 10x16" bags for their 6" bears.... I ended up ordering somewhere else (that didn't have bags) but the bag size listed at millscreek came in handy.... If you find them somewhere else..I would love to know.
Thanks so much! AH/RE had a ton of sizes, so I'll just have to place an order...just trying to see if I need any other goodies from them.

I use NG's Caribbean in soy and get good results. It does have other notes to it. HTH

They are adorable!
I got bags for mine from NG or AH/RE, I think. It was a l-o-n-g time ago. Could of been Cierra candles. If I remember right, in the size description it said large enough for dipped critters, baskets, etc.
HTH
Thanks, Jeanie. I'll check both places. Figures that my RE/AH order shipped this morning

They are Beary Beary Cute...I like to sell my bears sitting on a glass dish used for candles you can usually get them at the dollar store..and I also like to add a big bow .The glass dish is used so as not to wreck peoples furniture..The fo is not good it will stain the furniture etc. I also add a tag describing on how to look after the bear, scent etc..HTH"s ......I am sure you have thought about doing these already..lol Just my 2 scents..lol
Hugs Maggie
Thanks, Maggie. I do plan on putting the instructions on a hang tag. I think I'll do the plates on my retail bears, but skip it on the wholesale accounts.

Super great! Try to talk to everyone and show off your handmade and personal take on the sale; people like to have their pocketbooks stroked, and your claims can be legit! Good luck. Put a business card in every hand you touch, and don't be afraid to reach out and shake hands...it's still good form.

I meant the jelly jars using standard lids and caps; no savvy saver could throw that away; I dishwash and reuse ours all the time. Sorry for the confusion. I buy glass and lids separate so that some multi-task.
-
Do you mean the 2 piece lid and jar? I doubt customers give a care, but I bet the combo is so much more valuable (Sustainable) since you can reuse for canning, etc. The pewter tops I use are not air, liquid, or canning safe.

I have NG's. Let me know if you want to swap an ounce or two!

I'll be looking for a full report! I poured some Strawberry Cheesecake lip balm yesterday...I already am missing the summer fruits. I have a Strawberry jam that is ok in soy, but I'm looking for something richer and more bakery type. Is it SS?

What a great deal on those jars! Does anybody use them with 4627? If so, will you please give me a starting point for wicking with HTP? I'm afraid double wicks would drown, and single wicking with the biggest HTP won't be big enough. Would triple wicking work? Can it be done? I'd love to use those, but didn't think it would work.
Not sure what 4627 is, but I double wick them using HTP's in Millennium Soy. They do great.

Love to help out!!!:highfive: It is always wonderful and good to have another suppliers info on hand "just in case" !!
Agree; love to know that someone else can benefit from the deals we happen to find...there is plenty of room in this craft for us all.

Last year they sold the CC jars for $1.00 each, and they usually had coupon codes in my email; at one point I bought the lid and jars for .75 each. Then the price jumped to 2.99 per CC jar. (I had planned to completely discontinue the size, but my customers are flipping out over it.) This is an online special they are running on the 12 pc sets, so not sure of sale end date.

Free shipping on orders over $99. Coupon code AH15 saves 15%

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. I'm working on a Rice Petal & Shea Butter loaf and a Peaches & Cream loaf tonight; I'll post pics when cut if they come out ok.

I hate to ask stupid questions but would that be a buttermilk mp base?
No, white sfic and fresh Michigan buttermilk. It's heavenly, and is outselling my goat's milk.

Just checked out your site...very nice! You always have the prettiest photo compositions. Thanks for sharing!

I'd say definitely a latte with the gorgeous cream on top! I'm a coffee junkee with a $100 a month Keurig K cup habit, and this would definitely be a designer latte in a gourmet coffee shop. Beautiful!
-
How do you layer MP? Fully set?
I try to let it set up fully, but not totally cool, and I make sure to fully spritz the alcohol in all corners and from all angles.
